    Mr Rummager have you considered alcohol stoves ? The older I get and the more fecked my knees are am constantly lightening my kit and pack weight. At the moment am using an x boil, but I also have a eBay knock off that cost me about £11 to build. I have more than halfed the weight of my jetboil and it includes fuel. Slower to cook on but am in no rush just chilling and taking in the views so don't mind. Am just up and off out to work. But when I get home later will take some pics of the set ups and what it is on scales. I find myself more and more looking at ultralight options these days. I've

    Cheers and yeah it is, but only a short drive from my gaff. Got there about half 4ish. Am always out and about first thing , prefer my own company lol

    I spent a lot of my time in my 20,s out lamping up in lakes with the cumbrians. Funny old dialect Cup of scori = mug of tea Lonin = gutter or dyke as we say Snap = food I can't remember any more it was such a long time ago

    I use Barclay Card in my business. I have 2 cradles and 2 hand sets for when it gets busy. I held off for a good while, then started taking card payments a few years ago. Takings went up, people are inclined to spend more by card. Because when it's just a tap of a card, customers are more inclined to say o give us one of them as well and such like. I now average roughly 50% card and 50% cash sales daily . It's the way forward in today's society. Yet I am old school and always been a cash man myself.

    Mackem sleeping pad wise I got three , a thermarest for winter camping , a sea to summit still a winter mat and insulated , but a bit lighter and thinner . And a ultralight one for summer only a gram counter gear crash mat. I've used it in summer up in the hills on heather and it's been fine .

    I've got 2 dodgy knees after a slight incident in Puerto Banus years ago lol , but that's another story lol. Have a look at X Boil stoves, they look good and ultralight weight. Or probably a light weight gas canister stove MSR Pocket Rocket or suchlike. I like the Soto Windmaster as the pot supports are more stable I think. Also check out Des Cattys alcohol stoves on Etsy only about 25 grams and can get a Luxada titanium pot stand also about 25 grams ish, but you also got to take into consideration the fuel bottle
