  1. They are pretty standard/ordinary knives and sheaths from 1950-70s era I'd guess. Made before blade length could get you locked up, don't expect to retire on the proceeds!
  2. BSA made perfectly reasonable shotguns (and a lot of other things) in their day. They didn't make classics. Any shotgun has a value but don't expect to retire on the proceeds from a fairly battered old BSA. That isn't most peoples impression of a classic Old English shotgun! ATB!
  3. Yep, haven't seen him complaining about the Royal families love of Country pursuits. Hypocritical indeed, here is his ideal opportunity to make a stand and shame them, after all, he has slagged off all the rest of us enough!!!
  4. Wondered a bit from the OP but why indeed do we accept these illegals as we rescue them? Seems bonkers to me, they illegally try and enter the country, struggle in whatever boats they use, so we pick them up, bring them the rest of the way and then say Hi, come in and well look after you? Why don't we tow them back to a beach in France and leave them there!?

    She wolf

    Missed it completely, sounds interesting!
  6. Hardly ever see the Snipe and probably never shot more than 5-6 in all my days! Good going!
  7. To be honest I favour the Partridge, but even more the Duck these days!
  8. ...crumbs, 3 years back as well, so I guess we should be asking the OP what happened then?
  9. Kits available to DIY but specialists already mentioned. Cut and thread is beyond most DIY or Airgun dealers, proper RFD or engineers for that, but various adaptors available!
  10. Never been a fan of the Eley in the field, no question they are quite accurate, but despite their reputation I've not found them any more accurate than many others. Target wise for sure! Winchester and Magtech subs have a massive HP, just as accurate for me and expand well. Remington subs are cheap as chips but awful, other than that they all tend to work reasonably well. CCI ok but I use nothing but Subs in the .22 these days, and, for rabbits the odd crow or pigeon as mentioned in OP, no need for HV copper coated at all, subs do the job fine, and pass through less likely on al

    Socks....

Except when you happen to be in shark water and never climb ladders!

    Socks....

Playing, sniffing, checking...whatever, too close for me!
  13. It is just a working mans 500 for want of a better phrase. Mossberg shotguns are pretty much all workhorses, few frills but solid and reliable, if that what you are looking for you'll not go wrong with a Mossberg!
  14. She seemed to turn up from nowhere, did a couple of years of TV and then disappeared again, that's the way I see it!
  15. This country is bonkers, all we ever hear is about is Offenders rights!
  16. Too late for pics and my first time ever, but I was persuaded salmon on warm brown toast (no butter) and Champagne was the thing to have in bed first thing. She was right. Knockout!
  17. A real character! I only know of her from the Art programs, a bit of a novelty factor at the time!
  18. I was just going there...all my family together for the first times in ages!
  19. Appreciate! Same to you and all the other lads as well!
  20. Wonder what's happened to Glynn 1301 and the Meteors?
  21. I was out and about quite quickly but I was banned from driving for about a week, and it was a good while before I felt up to tackling a trip round the fields with a gun!
  22. EVERY gun and calibre has a use, some of those uses are quite extensive whilst others are rather limited. A 410 Hushpower with subsonic cartridges has pretty limited usage, but if you have a use for what it does its exactly what you need! What did you actually want to do with it? Cheers!
