  1. It's been a quiet start to the year fox wise for me, a combination of a lot of things I suspect. It happens, I suspect it will be busier later or next year!
  2. This looks familier, so is the reply... If you intend to shoot them as Wildfowl you will need to comply with the relevant legislation. If you intend to invoke and comply with the General Licence provisions in England, you can deal with them whenever you like, including Sundays. The General Licence needs to be checked for EACH part of the UK, there are differences!
  3. If this is the CCI Stinger, I think everyone hase tried them once, thats the polite answer, wildly innacurate is a fair description. The CCI 40g HP Subs work fine in mine, but as previously said by many, they chamber really tight in my CZ452. The Stingers are all over the place. This subject crops up on a fairly regular basis and the bottom line is the .22lr was never designed for High Velocity (or Hyper Velocity as some like to suggest) ammo. The calibre performs most accurately with subs...that's the way it is, HV and accurate just don't sit together with .22lr. If y
  4. But 'God' can cover any and all, look for example, Pagans worship multiple entities, Egyptians did so. Hindu's worship multiple Gods. Maybe I was looking too deep into stuff, but I thought, as there are only JW's allowed to refer to God as Jehovah, you would have used that. Still, live and let live Ah yeah i see ya point. without getting, like to say too deep into it, its one thing to say some one is A god but another to say someone IS God. In one way Jesus is in fact A god but Jehovah is God, or THE God, or THE ALMIGHTY God. I know what ya saying like. Have a chat next time they
  5. That looks painful, emotionally and financially!
  6. Something I found on another site.. BulletWinddrift.doc
  7. So was I a couple of years ago, actually I had it on order but GMK were out of stock and waiting a delivery....in the mean time the first CZ Silhouette HMR arrived in the UK...job done, never regretted getting the CZ for a moment. Nothing wrong with the Sako Quad as such, but it doesn't stack up in the money stakes in comparison with the CZ and doesn't shoot any better! I'm probably just getting old, but I don't rate the quad as good as the Finnfire, the old Hunter was a classic!
  8. When you wonder into the world of "overkill"..... I have to say I consider the 6 useful, but it is nowhere near as powerful as this... http://www.kania.net/ Mind your fingers... Bodygrips anyday, my opinion anyway, especially when it comes to cost, size and trapping numb squirrels... Fair comment, and I'm not it's biggest fan, but it does have it's uses, I just have the one, and to be honest the spring is so strong it does concern me setting it or immobilizing it...but then I'm just a big girlie!

  10. All those that go on a weeks BPCA/RSPH course without any prior pest control knowledge or experience, sit the exam and pass, qualified Yes competent with field experience not many. It's the world we live in...DSC1 comes to mind as well!!!
  11. If your not going to get a load of work for it .....then you could manage with a cheaper one and there are a lot around, but if you can afford it i would go for the 5 litre stainless steel version, it'll last you years and the spares are readily available. It's like all things.........you get what you pay for, but my stainless one is still going strong after 10 years of use........and it has done hundreds of treatments. . Rolfe. What he said, but 2 are useful if you get into wasps!!
  12. We have been over this one many times and the fact is two guns are really required, which will give you a great deal of versatility. However, if it to be just one then the Hornet, or possibly .22WMR!
  13. There may be others closer but I don't know, call Andy first to check availability!!! http://www.tfsa.co.uk/AMMUNITION%20PAGE.htm
  14. Thanks Deker I had a look at this lamp but uttings wont send stuf to Ireland. Do you know any where else that does them. I suspect Deben will supply direct, at top dollar of course, (but then I would have thought Uttings would to) so a search round the web could be in order.
  15. I clean all my guns and keep them clean, the centrefires every time, the rimfires very regularly! That's the way I was taught many years ago when I was a team target shooter with .22lr. It worked for me then and still does! Others will have their own opinions!
  16. I would personally not buy a .243 specifically for foxes, having said that, if I already had one and NO other suitable tool then a 58g V-Max is very effective, actually it is very effective whatever other calibre you have.
  17. Did someone drop you in by helicopter, where are the tracks to get there???
  18. Perfectly reasonable guns on the whole! Did I miss something...what calibre and what ammo were you using??
  19. ....... you are comparing 2 very different things, forget the ledray, it is an air rifle lamp at best. So the Lightforce wins hands down in this one...BUT...plenty of other lamps to look at...check out the Deben Max Pro....here... http://www.uttings.com/ Plenty of others to look at as well, this is for a .223, you need to be able to see a distance even if you do not intend to shoot a distance!!
  20. Well, I would have thought that too, and I certainly don't, but I have met a few who do!!
  21. Sounds the best plan, after all, it doesn't matter what anyone here says, it is your firearms dept you need to keep happy
