Goose numbers migration I'm out of touch...............is this really much of a thing still, VAST numbers of Geese now live here permanently, especially Canada geese, are there many migration flights at all?

I've only got a handful. All but one of mine are as cheap as you can get, they do the spotting job I need, and many of my sites are prone to theft/damage so the last thing I need is mega expensive. I'm not a documentary film maker, so I don't need that decent quality, as long as I can recognise what and when that does me! Seem sensitive enough to me, picked up many a small mouse and of course birds. -
No hesitation in Pest Control.

That was a windup, forget the big shoots where that simply wouldn't happen, I have a mate who runs his own small FRIENDLY shoot over Marlborough way, even he gets 50 birds on a bad day. He is full with a waiting list!!!!

We use the .22LR at 200 yards at Bisley quite often and surprisingly good results can be achieved, but forget it if it a bit gusty!

That's a new one on me, never knew there was a river Otter. Anyway, there are Otters on the Thames in my area, but so far no reports of Beaver!

I have .308 and .243 (and .223). I love the .243 and VERY rarely find a need for .308 on deer, but I am concerned about the future with these lead free alternatives, frankly I don't quite know where my .223 will end up either, perhaps a rabbit gun????

Of course there are UFO's, it all comes down to definition, UNIDENTIFIED flying objects. I've seen lots in the sky I don't know what it is, so its unidentified to me, who actually controls the definition of UFO???? (Frankly, I think you have a better chance of confirming UFO's than Big Cats in the UK )

There you go again, I don't have any issue with your quest, and I have never called you a liar, all you ever do is say you have proof but for some reason say it must be kept a secret. I am more than sceptical there are any big cats in the wild in the UK, and even more sceptical there are breeding populations, but I would love to see some PROOF that I am wrong, rather that ridiculous fuzzy pictures, cardboard cutouts or reports from drunks! I am totally open to being wrong, but so far there has not been a single tangible piece of PROOF shown on this thread. On that basis I have a

This bloke was Director of Public Prosecutions and Head of the Crown Prosecution Service!!!!!! Is he really that stupid he thinks the main issue with gun crime is LEGALLY held guns. FFS as someone else said!!!

Depending upon whose figures you look at in the UK, between 98-99% of GUN crime is committed with ILLEGALLY held guns, that means only 1-2% of Gun crime is via licenced guns. Yet every time there is a gun issue, the shouts go out from everywhere to ban guns!!! Bonkers!!!
