  1. Today's news is tomorrow's chip paper. They've made a statement and said that they're going to sort it within the family. It's a long game of kicking the ball into the grass and run the time down. The fact that Randy Andy was as much of an arrogant twerp and expected everyone to believe that he didn't know any of those girls and that he didn't sweat ( How repulsive is that thought) is all lost now. Water under the bridge. Time is a great healer. Everyone and everything is just a grain of sand on the wind.
  2. As of 14:00 on Tuesday 9 March, we have received 41,015 complaints about the programme= statement by ofcom
  3. They're Spanish so they may never be available due to import problems due to Brexit. I've never understood this fast or slow cartridge thing. The difference out at 30 yards ect is negligible . If you've got the lead on the target the load will do the job. Some people will only shoot a certain brand or load but others just pile the cartridges in the bag and shoot them. They don't know if it is a blue one or a red. it is just a cartridge and it doesn't seem to make a difference to them.
  4. Other place. ? Which other place.? Do you mean the house of lords.? Come on ; name that place. It can get a bit tricky in here at times so you'll have to keep on the ball.
  5. You mis understand. They don't go out and slip em a Mickey Finn. That would go against all rules and protocols. The patient is advised and if they don't want help they go back away to the painful situation that they were in. The nurses don't go out and give em a welt with a cosh when they're not looking. It's like the jab. No one is forced to have it. If people don't want it they have the potential to go down with the disease which is really unpleasant which if it doesn't kill them it has the potential to leave the person at risk of side effects which last for a long time potentially f
  6. One of the daughters is a nurse who worked on a ward where the work was on the head. Cancers, facial traumas, maxilo facial imjuries ( vehicle crash damage ) and serious dental issues. Some people are very nervous to the point of collapse about even coming in the hospital. The staff help them by putting a small amount of a drug (midazolam) into some Orange juice. This calms them down and they can come in and get the dental work done.
  7. Wife has had a mission with one . It ain't just the cost of one visit eg the cost of a crown. It is a series of visits.. examination (rough costs).. (£50) .... cleaning (50)....60..... filling....... 50 ...60 Xray ? Crown £500 total somewhere in the region of a £1000.!!!! So not just the pain of a tooth problem. they did offer to do the job on a sort of per month payment but I don't know what any extra interest there would be. I told her not to keep getting into fights.????? she didn't take to kindly to that and now I've got to pay a visit. ?
  8. At the present and the previous few months covid has virtually shut down all lines of communication with Kent police. They don't reply to emails you can't communicate by phone it is almost though not imposible to contact the foe. The one that I have only works part time and when my cert hadn't arrived on the last day of an 8 week overrun extension I managed eventually to get through to him. Even he couldn't get through to the department on the private to them numbers. He had to leave msgs. The department had to do an immediate cert issue. When I eventually got this cert it was wri
  9. Thank you for the kind offer but seeing as I have just renewed it will be nearly another five years to the next renewal and even so I'm more than able to finance myself although I wouldn't want to be associated with this 2 bob org. goodness only knows what the situation will be by that time. with an impending lead ban over the horizon and the probable demise of game shooting due to the efforts of Kwis and his like of scum,/ and basic / general economics of game shooting, I can see that virtually no one will be into shooting. What with the increase of costs and the total disinterest of the v
  10. That's the biggest cop out of all. Basic state that they the leading org supporting British sportsmen. Coming out with a load of crap like we can't find anyone to challenge it is so weak. I'm not a member of basic and never will be because of their behaviour in circumstances like this. Look at what kwis did to them in regard to the General licence. He completely blind sided the whole organisation making them a complete gang of chimps. I can afford the price at whatever but a lot can't and the more people pack in shooting the less shops there will be open and jobs will go. This forum is
  11. This medical certificate isn't law. It is another hoop that plod has dreamt up to shift any blame off of them. The doctors couldn't give a monkies about it other than it's a nice little earner for bugger all. I paid £30. Son in law has been charged £60 by the same practice 6 months later. The form is just a series of tick boxes like is he a nutter or on xyz anti depressants or has he tried to commit suicide ence, ect. Two minutes max. And what are any of the orgs doing to challenge any of this.?? Sweet FA. Totally unfit for purpose.

    Snow moon

Ps thats as bad as being called "Oi Sambo". Personally I don't even consider anything like racial origin. It would be like someone saying that I was A VIKING .

    Snow moon

Indigenous brethren ??? now I would find that title a right insult. I'd much prefer to be called a NATIVE SAVAGE. It's got that sort of proud manace about it. Unless your built like a seven stone weakling in which case it would be inappropriate. But I still wouldn't want to be labelled INDIGENOUS BRETHREN. !!! ????

    Snow moon

Apparently it was named by the red Indians as a way of marking the season, Snow moon,? They mentioned it on the news earlier so I went out to have a look at it. Wow that moon was brilliant white. I came in to round up the binoculars and go check it out. I had three good pairs of binos to look through. a pair of 8x30 compacts. A pair of 8x30 small/ med and a pair of 7x50 standard size. All world class glass. For the 7x50s I have two pairs of lens filters. one pair orange and the other green. Now in general daylight the 8x30s are the best but hands down it was the 7x50s without filters t
  15. They don't want to get Involved and the family history is a bit thin with Bangladesh. They've said that they would hang her for terrorism if she went there. Life for females is cheap out there. She'd rather stay in a war zone.
  16. Totally rotten. They had to find something to try to do with all the offal that no one would buy. It's like the one about.. " what's the difference between greens and boggies. Answer....you can get the kids to eat the boggies. The supposed sausages in those tins had as much meat in them as a red sorbo ball. It's like the crap dog food .... chappy. Anyone found buying that shite for dogs should be prosecuted for cruelty to dogs. The only thing that I can think of thats worse is mulagatawny soup. I bought a tin out of curiosity. .... second hand vindaloo with a lot of pepper.
  17. I know that the girls were only 15 when they went on what they thought was the trip of a lifetime but even at that age they knew right from wrong. Admittedly some of them have been killed and she has splogged out three times, and all three of them have died but there is no reason that an appeal couldn't be done by video link. From the governments angle, if they were to let her back into this country, they would be stuck with the problem of deporting her, but to where.? she might be in Syria BUT She ain't Syrian . No country would accept her as a stateless person. She was born and bred
  18. I wonder where the demand for the 300,000 rounds was and where this load was destined for.? Rifle clubs are still under lock down and I'm sure that most sports shooters are not going out rabbit shooting enough to use 300,000 rounds. Perhaps they were destined for Wolfe. He reckons that there is a big shortage of ammo out in the state's although the American shooter would probably class all Eley ammunition as premium grade and too expensive.
  19. Yep your to damn right ... I haven't been of offered any. ?? I'd like to offer a good loving home to some of these homeless rounds. About ten thousand Tenex and ten thousand subsonics would do for starters ? on a serious note I would think that the most likely destination will probably be the melting pot for the lead and brass. Not very easy to track down. Bloody shame if that does happen.
  20. Are you sure that's wee Jimmy. It looks more like a version of Salmon or a waxworks dummy. why do they want independence. ? they aint exactly discriminated against. Surely if they did get independence they would have to be bailed out in a few years. Independance aint going to stop it raining or the days get longer so it gets light before mid morning or getting dark half way through the afternoon. Europe wouldn't want another unviable economy and Spain would veto Scotland because of the demands of the Basques and the Catalans. Ect ect
  21. Dunno what you ole boys are on about. It's like summer down here in Kent. The Mrs has the roses pruned and we've weeded the flower beds and dug them over. I got the strimmer out and topped the lawns. Out back the sun was really warm out of the wind which had a bit of an edge it it is drying the ground rapidly. Hose pipe ban next week. roll on global warming.
  22. There was nothing wrong with BSA GUNS AND barrels. Target or sporting. Their barrels were better than Anschutz. I've got both BSA and Anschutz target rifles and both will punch very tight groups at 100 mtrs. It takes a bit of allowance for bullet drop and attention to the wind pulses. My 22 sporting rifle is an old BSA with a lightweight sportier barrel probably from the 1950s. I have modified the gun somewhat but essentially It is still reasonably as it was when made. Although it is old, not fashionable it is supremely accurate and as far as I'm concerned that more important than looki
  23. Id say that the majority of people on this site are not shooters at all and are dog men. The ones who do go pigeon shooting don't generally go out looking to offer shooting for others. There have been several threads on here about blokes who have taken others out and found that this guest has been a bit naughty by just going out on the land whenever they feel like it and taking others along uninvited, going and leaving waste, cartridge cases and other junk and even going behind the back to the farmer / owner and trying to buy the shooting rights out from the bloke who invited the newbie. Al
  24. Yes, admittily on the face of it the idea is sensible but generally plod ain't got a lot of common sense and it might work in some areas but down here in Kent they seem to take the view that you may have called in but it could be that the public call is about someone else or a different situation completely. So regardless of the call they turn out to check. ( If their are any resources that are available. !! )*** footnote) Their view is that if they don't and subsequently some farmers tractor or whatever gets nicked or their animals get russled then it is partially their fault for not invest
  25. If boar are on the ground there will be a lot of signs. A lot of people don't notice all sorts of things even though they may walk a piece of ground. It's stuff like are there track marks in that muddy bit.? Are there hairs caught up on that bit of barbed wire.? What is causing this turf to be disturbed.? But from what I've seen generally if there is a family group, a piece of ground on day one looks like a bit of digging with a garden spade, day two someone used a rotorvator, day three someone was out there with a tractor and plough or a set of ripper bars. Ps. They are highly inte
