    This medical certificate isn't law. It is another hoop that plod has dreamt up to shift any blame off of them. The doctors couldn't give a monkies about it other than it's a nice little earner for bugger all. I paid £30. Son in law has been charged £60 by the same practice 6 months later. The form is just a series of tick boxes like is he a nutter or on xyz anti depressants or has he tried to commit suicide ence,ect. Two minutes max. And what are any of the orgs doing to challenge any of this.?? Sweet FA. Totally unfit for purpose.

    Indigenous brethren ??? now I would find that title a right insult. I'd much prefer to be called a NATIVE SAVAGE. It's got that sort of proud manace about it.     Apparently it was named by the red Indians as a way of marking the season, Snow moon,? They mentioned it on the news earlier so I went out to have a look at it. Wow that moon was brilliant white. I came in to round up the binoculars and go check it out. I had three good pairs of binos to look through. a pair of 8x30 compacts. A pair of 8x30 small/ med and a pair of 7x50 standard size. All world class glass. For the 7x50s I have two pairs of lens filters. one pair orange and the other green.     Totally rotten. They had to find something to try to do with all the offal that no one would buy. It's like the one about.. " what's the difference between greens and boggies.     I know that the girls were only 15 when they went on what they thought was the trip of a lifetime but even at that age they knew right from wrong.     I wonder where the demand for the 300,000 rounds was and where this load was destined for.? Rifle clubs are still under lock down and I'm sure that most sports shooters are not going out rabbit shooting enough to use 300,000 rounds. Perhaps they were destined for Wolfe. He reckons that there is a big shortage of ammo out in the state's although the American shooter would probably class all Eley ammunition as premium grade and too expensive.

    Yep your to damn right ... I haven't been of offered any. ?? I'd like to offer a good loving home to some of these homeless rounds. About ten thousand Tenex and ten thousand subsonics would do for starters ? on a serious note I would think that the most likely destination will probably be the melting pot for the lead and brass. Not very easy to track down. Bloody shame if that does happen.

Surely if they did get independence they would have to be bailed out in a few years. Independance aint going to stop it raining or the days get longer so it gets light before mid morning or getting dark half way through the afternoon.     Dunno what you ole boys are on about. It's like summer down here in Kent. The Mrs has the roses pruned and we've weeded the flower beds and dug them over. I got the strimmer out and topped the lawns. Out back the sun was really warm out of the wind which had a bit of an edge it it is drying the ground rapidly.     There was nothing wrong with BSA GUNS AND barrels. Target or sporting. Their barrels were better than Anschutz. I've got both BSA and Anschutz target rifles and both will punch very tight groups at 100 mtrs. It takes a bit of allowance for bullet drop and attention to the wind pulses. My 22 sporting rifle is an old BSA with a lightweight sportier barrel probably from the 1950s. I have modified the gun somewhat but essentially It is still reasonably as it was when made.     Id say that the majority of people on this site are not shooters at all and are dog men. The ones who do go pigeon shooting don't generally go out looking to offer shooting for others. There have been several threads on here about blokes who have taken others out and found that this guest has been a bit naughty by just going out on the land whenever they feel like it and taking others along uninvited, going and leaving waste, cartridge cases and other junk and even going behind the back to the farmer / owner and trying to buy the shooting rights out from the bloke who invited the newbie.     Yes, admittily on the face of it the idea is sensible but generally plod ain't got a lot of common sense and it might work in some areas but down here in Kent they seem to take the view that you may have called in but it could be that the public call is about someone else or a different situation completely.     If boar are on the ground there will be a lot of signs. A lot of people don't notice all sorts of things even though they may walk a piece of ground.     Well are you.? I read that's it's been going since 2014. And that the BBC have been sreening it for three years. Now I've only seen small clips of it. I haven't got a clue about the drivers the team's or anything. The few clips of it that I have seen have been as exciting as paint drying.     A friend does target air pistol and air rifle shooting at a club.these blokes are pretty serious about it and have rifles and pistols costing Many hundreds. All of this target work is 177 stuff and they use wadcutter pellets. I had a 20 cal air rifle and my mate asked for a handful of my H N .20 wadcutter pellets. He took them to the club and secretly dropped 2 or three into the tins of the other shooters along the line whilst they were concentrating on taking aim. ????.     Going way way back when I was a kid I used to pester mother to get the shooting Times for me every Thursday when she went to the local market. I waited like a dog for it to arrive. The reason that the ones that did freeze up was that they aint designed to operate in sub zero temps is because it doesn't get down to these low temps in Texas. Wind turbines work in Sweeden.     Hey man be wary of your water pipes that are frozen. As your not used to this sort of low temps and freezing, If the pipes are really frozen solid they are possibly split by the ice expansion. When the ice melts you may have burst pipes dumping water all over the place. This might include flooding out you house. I hope that you know where to turn of the water at the main supply pipe. Possibly down at the road. Sometimes when this happens especiallyif this hasn't happened before you might not have a tool key to turn the stop tap off or it might be so stiff to turn off.
