Yes. This is very true. My 223 has had very varying effects on red fox with different bullets. Some have gone right through with a clean hole. In fact we did have one instance of a fox with healed wounds of a bullet that went right through without killing it. And conversely we have seen foxes running with all of their guts dragging along the ground where the shock impact has opened it up like a knife. The injuries depend on if bones are hit also.

Yesterday was odd. It was like the sun hadn't bothered to rise. And she seemed a bit ratty.! Today is a new day the sun is providing some light, she seems ok but there's still the kit hen decorating to do. I too went over to P W to see if there was any info. I didn't linger very long.. It would have been reassuring if there had been a msg that notified us of a shutdown.

308 is suitable for pig and deer but it is a pretty heafty calibre for a bobcat. What sort of exit wound on that pelt. Was there much stitching involved.?

God this corona virus has a lot to answer for.! The population has been forced to rummage through their cupboards finding all of those handy gadgets that were the dogs bits but never got used . The omelette maker, the sandwich toaster, the thing that chopped up salad and made cucumbers into slices. But people are lòoking at these again thinking, that was a good idea. But they'll likely end up back in the cupboard again. I'll have to suggest to her about a stew.

We use V for mobile, house and internet. No problem with any of them. Cheaper than others. Much faster line speed. We were with bt but the max line speed was 8 mbps! We were lucky if we got 6. They wouldn't budge on any sort of deal so we moved. On V we get a constant 71 mbps. No buffering at all and the price is half what bt wanted. The only slight problem is contacting them. It can be 30 mins before you get through and sometimes the person has a dialect. It could be scouse or Geordie but it is about as understandable as mbongo land speke. I have been at two locations where there has been an odd feeling. Nothing intimidates me and I have been out on my own during the day and the night in woods, around cemeteries ect. If I had to sleep in the church on a pew or on a bench in the cemetery it wouldn't freak me. I don't believe or disbelieve. The two places where I have encountered weird feelings have been a building that was a car spray booth ??? All of these small tech things like Garmin GPS are great but there is a lot going on in small packages. She has had all sorts of issues like syncing the watch to iPhone and iMac. There was a lot of reading up, watching videos and help from daughters, and me. Some issues are understanding how to stear things and where things are done. Since covid we have used thes on our geocaching exploits out exercising over different ground.

When we were kids a mate and I were out on a pond skid sliding about. Suddenly there was a moaning crack.!!! We were off that ice quick and lively. It was like the pond had a horror monster in it. Stupidly I got on the edge and it cracked and I went through up to my waist. !!! My wellies were full of freezing water. That was a lucky escape and I never went on ice ever again. I can't remember feeling the cold much then considering we were in short trousers I must have been blue.

All electrical/mechanical stuff , can and will break down or play up. I haven't been able to find out online what has caused the display brightness to dim to the point that you cant read the display. This seems to be a common problem with the fitbit. This afternoon the Mrs did an online text chat with a technician and he went through a load of things which she had already done and he is stated that they will send an e-mail outlining her options. ??? Mrs got hers mainly because the daughters have them and they compare their physicaĺ performaces when they are swimming or out exercising the dog ect. They sort of use this to encourage the others to keep up, the exercise data is uploaeđ onto some sort of comparison chart thingy that they compair their physical performances against the others even though they don't go out together or at the same time. BUT like the majority of all modern gadgets they can pack up in a blink and be junk without backup from the manufacturer. I suppose that I'll have contact fitbit about it to see if they'll help

Anyone got / use one.? The Mrs has a Fitbit charge 3. She got it to track her swimming,. exercise with the dog and sleep patern. She says that it shows when I get in bed with her in the early hours.,! Anyway I think that its been a pile of junk since she got it. Latest is the display has gone so dark that you cant read it. Sleep.? I used to sleep until I was always out until stupid night shooting and just generally working. Sometimes I used to get about 3 hours and then back up for work. It got to the point of perhaps I didn't need sleep at all. I went to quack about it and he just said "well, that's the way it is, some people dont need much sleep". It's just like car insurance. Every year they hiķe it up so don't make a target of yourself. Keep on the move. We were with Seeboard for ever then they changed to EDF. Prices went through the roof so we jumped and moved to Bristol Electric. No probs to speak to them about. They send an e-mail to read meter. I submit reading online. They e-mail me Bill. I pay Bill online. But I'm not being complacent. Our deal runs out in a few months so I've already started to look for a better deal.

There may well be but I could never find the golden bullet. ? seriously a 22 lr 40gn out of my Anschutz target rifle at about 1100 is the same zero at 15 mtrs and 50 mtrs. at 25 it is about 3 clicks above the optical line when the bullet gets to 100 mtrs the bullet has dropped to 20 clicks below the optical line. probably by 150 the bullet would hit the ground. maybe. I've not shot target at 150. But I know that I can just point and shoot rabbit head at about eighty freehand when zeroed at about 70.

It's down to compromise between speed / bullet drop .... barrel fouling and enough recoil to cycle the action. In my situation I just require a point,shoot, hit round. I couldnt see any advantage to shoot a bullet with a trajectory like a rainbow.

I was given some 55gn tips to reload , but I never tried them because of the requirement of low velocity to avoid lead fouling. My developed load runs 3400 with 55 through 1:12 twist. I would have had to develop a load somewhere near 1100 to avoid lead fouling on the rifling. If the AR 15 is 1:8 theè could be serious issues with fouling and /or recycling of the action. What powder /spèed are you going to use.?

HaHa, I've been in the same boat with the IMac system. Everything is the same but called something different. Prepare to spend a lot of time on Google watching a load of useless vid clips that don't show you what you want to know. Or that your just as confused as you were before. You'll get there in small steps though.

I've got one. A Samsung tab 3. I use it a lot whilst one eye on the tv. It's brilliant for just looking stuff up quick. I use it to look at the news when I wake up. I jot quick notes down on it. I take technical picture of things and e-mail them to other tech's. It is brilliant but it doesn't have a 27 inch screen and the amount of ram power to run at full speed. We have a very fast online speed which allows us to stream tv programs and YouTube clips ect without any buffering or hesitation at all. Especially when the Mrs is watching some tat program on the Tele. It's like having a Su
