I don't know that an age comes into it. It depends on your own personal confidence. If it was David Beckham or Rabb C they have the couldn't care less attitude. If you wandering around Tesco do you want the housewives to look at you and think yeah. Or what the scruffy. If they think yea,h you have enlightened someone's day if they look the other way . Good on em. But A lot of the remoaners haven't given up and believe that we are still in the eu and that there is still until the end of the year for parliment to reject brexit and scrap it in favour of begging to rejoin the club by crawling on our knees. That put it Into prespective. It's not really "OUR TUNE" , it's more "YOUR TUNE". I've never seen that before. It's a good idea as is that sort of check list. We mis out on all of this flooding and snow down here in Kent. Mlst of it goes past us. It's rained a bit but it's just a bit sticky in the gateways. I can't remember how many years ago when we last had any snow. Roll on global warming

Today the sun is shining and there is a bit of warmth to it out of the wind. I suggested that as the next few days are forecast for more rain that We work together in the garden and get the roses pruned and General clear up. I've heard several people mowing their laws ect so give it a wèk or two and it could be a different picture. This time last year we were out with the boys clay shooting in T shirts it was so warm in the hot sunshine.

I feel very sad for those who have been flooded out and lost stuff that can't be replaced. It has been very wet right back to bonfire night which was a complete wash out but considering how much rain we have had in this locality, the ground has dried out reasonably quickly. Several times I have said to the Mrs that if it were to not rain for a couple of days it would be reasonable underfoot. Then it goes and rains again. Last week we did consider pruning the roses but it tipped down again. yesterday did manage to find an hour to get the strimmer out and top the grass which was get

But we are fooled Into thinking this is normal. I've never thought about it because we don't have problems like that in this area. I have NOW noticed that virtually every advert on tv comprises a mixed family with woolly hair do's. It seems to me that this thread has gone off track, as is usual with any sort of discussion along these lines. People just seem to take obscure ideas or incorrect interpretation of what the salient points are. There is no point In demanding your medical records because they aint going to be any use firstly plod shouldn't /wouldn't accept them and they aint medically qualified. Im getting upset because these orgs are paid by their members to represent them and their activities. These orgs have taken it on themselves to sell those interests down the river without even questioning this. All this so called evidence isn't even looked at. The total nonse of it all is that if I shoot a pheasant flying over a river with lead that's ok. But if I shoot a duck flying over the middle of a 20 acre ploughed field with lead then I've broken the law. The fact that lead has been used for hundreds of years and is far more effective at dropping game and not wounding it doesn't

what planet are you on. Are some sort of anti Brexit merchant that's a load of nonsense. Individuals don't export game or ducks to the EU its only big game dealers and since when did any ban stop people doing what they want anyway. The troubles in Ireland were a good example of that. For the individual weekend game shooter you can easily make enough cartridges in your kitchen. back in my grandfathers day they shot everything with their homeloads and they shot a load and they made everything from the ground up.

Theyve passed a law that states that now we have to have insurance like a car insurance to drive a lawn tractor (mower) in your own garden !! Boris has said take no notice. If it's got anything to do with basic they'll sell the shooter down the river. They have always done this in the past. Not to worry though. I read that out in Ausralia they did a lot of testing with steel and as long as you keep to less than half choke there isn't any problem. AND if the steel shot was rammed down a barrel all it did was create a bulge ring which was only noticable by eyesight. Seeing as the guns were shot thousands of time afterwards with no failures of the barrels I dont see any real probs. Make you own lead shot cùt you own wads. I've even seen experiments using lead

Yes it is. And I didn't write that to demean any knife maker/craftsman and their work but prices are driven by what someone is prepared to pay for quality and function. There are so many wannabes out there that buy stuff because they think that product A makes them A : look the part in their mind and B: to to other wanabees who don't know any different. A Purdy shotgun is a fantastic piece of gun making art that will last lifetimes but it don't shoot a pheasant deader than a cheap s/h baikal out of the bargain bucket. This site is the best because it is full of real people who actually go hunting Ect. There is and always has been colourful language between blokes. Whether at work or play. I know that no one wants a constant tirade of obscenities and pictures of distasteful blood and gore paraded in front of them all the time but to try to sanitise life is to pervert the way of life. A balanced life is good. The prices that are being asked for knives is bloody silly. I know that they are a small production number but it just seems like everything is getting priced up by name hype rather than what it is. Most of this is the consumers fault because the person thinks they look the part. All the gear and no idea. A bloke that I know wanted to go shooting so I offered. up he turns in his immaculate black 4X4 to go shooting. When I said about putting the spaniel in the back, he didn't want that because it might put a bit of dirt on the carpet. (what) ??? ( dogs on shoots getting wet and muddy !!!!

About 7.5 tl to the pound sterling at the mo. some years ago we went on holiday to Rhodes, A day trip over to Marmaris and we got 1 million tl to the pound !!!! the next year we went to Kushadasi in Turkey and we got 2.8 million to the pound !!! In the local market I went to buy some grapes. I thought that I was buying a big bunch but they had a big pan measure and the grapes filled a large plastic carrier bag. 750 Turkish lira. = about 40p. We couldn't eat them and I was giving them away to people in the street. They were bloody lovely as well. I got a Helle like this >>> it

Whatever you do, don't go out across the fields with all that bloody lot on board. The ground is so boggy that you'll go up to the nuts in mud with that weight. still no doubt we'll have a hose pipe ban soon.
