She has quite a good style. Body weight is well distributed and taking the bird out front. Pick up the line of the target, look for the second one, track the flight of the first, follow through and pick up the second. I told her I expect a pile in front and a pile behind. She took no notice. ? Those two blokes are Very, very good game shots that were advising her on position. Mother bought me that little 20 as a present in 1986 and it is a pure joy to shoot. It is still almost as good as the day I received it.

A couple of pictures from a summer friends clay shoot. a couple of friends watch on as one of my daughters uses my 686 ss Beretta in 20. The day was quite warm and humid giving rise to a sort of blast haze when the shots were fired like a decompression wave from an aircrafts wing. She is quite a good shot but hasn't shot for several years now because she has her own family now so enjoy the times that you have and keep the memories like this. because time speeds on and they soon grow up and move on to live their own lives. but these times are still with them.

?? Did she ever go again? Was she sent off the field to sit it out in the beaters transport and fast asleep. I remember there was this semi dormant alky who used to come occasionally when he wasn't completely blotto. one of the guns brought a bottle of slow gin to the beaters trailer and he was into that like a flash and it had to be prised out of his grasp before he sunk it ? he used to prise the metal caps off of beer bottles with his teeth. Yes, its not like he'll be banging off hundreds. It's the memories that will last a lifetime and more, .. about how we used to go here, and we used to do that and when we got soaked in the rain and the journey back home to a nice dinner ect, ect. Only the other day one of the girls recalled the day when we were out in the beating line and it started to snow and she was so cold that she was physically sick. And one of the women put her in a hilux to get warm. I recalled how I had to stay out there. And how someone slipped over and slid all down a bank into a puddle. All character buildin

The downside of the smallbores is the cost of cartridges. And the availability of different types. To get round this I got a A Mec size master. To reload the different stuff and the amount that I want. I don't keep a check on the price but I know that the just cartridges price is about £270 a thousand which works out around £13 a box. So if you just bought a few boxes the price would be higher. This why I would always go for a light loaded 12.

this is why basic should be doing a lot more. and if they can't then they should be taking all this crap to a much higher level. I know that the plod has the whip hand but should we live in fear of them without them being held accountable.

It's all very well typing up a list but there isn't any detail of how they intend to challenge what is going on. All they ever say is stuff like we are in consultation.( it seems like their idea of consultation is to have a genial chat over a cup of tea for half an hour) every 6 months or so) ( if this isn't the case they ain't putting out any detail ). This exactly the same situatioñ as the dsc classifications. Basic never challenged any of this. They did the reverse and set up a sort of trainings thing. They said it was a good idea. Well they would wouldn't they, seeing as they were making a cut out of it. All of this is so sickening and we must follow along meekly following the Judas sheep. What's the latest on this fiasco. Plod is trying it on again and makjng it up as they go along. Again basic are spouting off about how great they are by organising some random doctor to sign a ticket. Ok the doctor can view your medical record but if he's never spoken to you how does he have an opinion about how anyone might react in a stress situation. If you've only been to your doctor.... or a random practise doctor about the flue or a twisted ankle ?? basic put this out there as a service but it's like when they cashed in on dsc certs. Ripped off by the shooting org again! ,!

A few years ago When Coyote Gods was up and running a Canadian member was travelling through the UK enroute to europe and we met up. He brought me an electronic caller because that's what they really used. The caller used plug in chips with different calls. A mate had ground where he had heard a fox calling so we set up to try to call it. It is a real joy to be out with the kids but there is always a risk and there are so many situations that could be fatal which could happen in a flash. There are the incidences of two people in a hide resulting in a fatal discharge and one of my daughters had a negligent discharge when we were out on our own practising clays. She shut the gun and took the safety off and in the process had pressure on the trigger. This resulted in the shot blowing a hole in the ground about 2 ft in front of here. 28 bore is a far better calibre than a 410 due to better load and pattern. The only thing that I would watch out for is him being short is that he doesn't catch the barrels in the mud. It's easy to do. I slipped going up a bank and had a partial block in one and fully blocked in the other. I used a thick dried stem of cow parsley as a rod. Great memories of when I took my girls out shooting.

Lamps and lamping..... depends on what you want to do, and at what sort of range. When I first started it was a motor bike lead acid powering a Honda 50 headlight. Just ok for 30 ...40 yard shotgun, then when we lamped from hilux it was a 10 inch lamp one & half million candle power !!! 110w halogen bulb !!! Fields were like daylight. Charlie could be detected quarter of mile plus away. we had a large area to cover. Then on to other lamps and night vision. One problem that I see with lamps is that when you get a Brown Fox of brown plough that a fair amount of light to hold the target

NO'. I see the excuse. You were out taking the dogs for a walk. it got dark and your bike torch went dead, you got lost and ended up in the middle of a wood and couldn't proceed because the way was blocked by a deep slippery ditch. You had no option but to make a fire to feed the pizza to the dogs and keep them warm by the fire and wait. it out until daylight. Simple !

But for some time now the rain has been thrashing down and everywhere has been so sodden. I managed to get a bit of time out with the spaniel across the fields and the ground is so sodden that she was sinking into the field. These fields are like rock in the summer. When we came back home She was so plastered in mud that I had to hose her off outside before a warm shower ect. Now with these conditions why would anyone want to go out into a wood at night, start a fire and cook a pizza ? No wonder they came out hunting you down. Life is strange. My Father had a bad war experience out in Burma after a difficult childhood. He was never nasty to me but he wasn't like a real at home dad because he worked away from home on marine stuff out in Germany on the Rhine. I only got to see him once in a blue moon. Due to his war experiences and working away, his marriage with mum suffered and to be honest they should have divorced but it wasn't the done thing years ago and they just got on with their own lives. Years ago my mother had to go into hospital and there was just my brother and myself at home, (Father was working away from home then). There were 3 newspapers delivered. Neither myself or my brother read these papers because we were either working, chasing girls or doing something. A bill for the papers was delivered and we took the discision to bin the lot. Did we mis them. Naah. And that was back before internet ect. Everything is on internet 24/7. I'm sure that it is a natural progression for the BBC to be allowed to wither away.

What you need is a Ouija board. You could ask it where you can find a big cat in the countryside. It will shortcut the process. IF it works you will either be informed where to go to fiñd one or be told that they don't exist and your wasting time and bandwidth.

I dont recall mentioning you previously. It's all very simple really. It's called truth, evidence and tranparency. IF this exists show and display SOLID EVIDENCE. Not stuff like, .... reported, belived to be, some think, if I go out and shoot a rabbit or pheasant it is very simple to post a clear picture of that evidence. Not some completely out of scale blur in the distance that could be anything. Perhaps someone has a picture of a alien out in their garden or could it be the image of the neighbour tending his smoky garden bonfire. Smoke and mirrors. Time for me to take the spa
