An issue of this is one of finding any solicitor who would be able to tackle this. I needed the services of a solicitor in regard to a building problem and it was very difficult to find one that take work like that on. All the majority do is, probate, wills, conveyancing, deeds of oath. To actually find one that is going in like a terrier and rag them about is difficult. I chose the wrong profession. I would do it for the amusement of it. I suppose that it is the combat of it and the killer instinct.

Exactly. Mind you plod cant afford it out of their budget eithèr if their bluff is called. I knew a bloke who plod was going to do for a firearms offence. They all presented at the magistrates court and plod turned up with spotty boy duty solicitor. The magistrate asked who was representing the defendant and when the £500 an hour barrister declared himself, the magistrate said that the case was too serious for them to hear and that it would be referred to the crown court. The case was dropped and cited that it wasn't in the public Interest. They realised that yeah he might get a slap on t

Some rifles I shoot with a silencer some I don't. I aint to concerned about noise as long as the target is taken. My techniques have been honed out in the field. I suppose that my way is stealth. I had a very lamp shy Fox and I only ever got one eye flash and it was gone. One night I got the most fleeting of glimpses. The flash was just like that off of a moth out there. I walked black across the 400 pace field and went up along the edge of the wood along that side of the field. As I walked I kept flashing the light into the wood. The dog took it on itself to go into the wood about t

Oh God help us. I bet your a joy to be around when that lot starts gassing up and you start leaking. ???

How are they going to help ? Basic have absolutely no sway whatsoever . As indicated by the hunting ban marches back when. If they had any influence whatsoever people wouldn't have been waiting anything up to a year for renewal of a cert. Plod was just messing people about issuing section 7s one after the other. It is a total disgrace and these orgs should have been on the case day and night threatening to take them to court .... anything. But nothing. Any mention of basic is like a red reg to a buĺl to me. They are brought into the mix by shooters as if what they say has any beari

Yes, but if the applicant has seen the light and the penny has dropped that putting stuff in your body is wrong and is going to prey for their misdomeanouurs then asking foes or basic what they think is an unnecessary step. Just apply. They'll either be granted or not. They have to consider any actions from tthat point. Edit. We as a shooting community seem to over think situations. We through our so called orgs like basic do stupid things which inhibit us like the fact that basic pushed for Dsc which they were organising and charging for. Everytime there is something that they think

They do, but a lot of this is out of our control. If you see someone doing stupid irresponsible things it is our duty to bring it to the attention of the authorities. Youve done what you think is right. If they agree they'll do their duty. If they don't and Muppet does something stupid it is their responsibility. It's out of your hands

I'd just apply, I wouldn't ask the opinion of any feo. Most of them dont know the pointy end from The blunt end and they just come out with any old sort of tripe as do most plod, retired or serving. I'd just fill in the form TRUTHFULLY and let the office staff in the department sort the bones out of that lot. About three things will happen. They'll grant it. They'll reject it. Or they'll ask questions. I've known people who were totally unfit to have any sort of gun and that Includes a kid's spud gun. There was a bloke who came to our rifle club wjo was a complete slob. From th

Hm. A bit of a head scratcher. You seem to have covered all bases pretty well The 22lr and 22WMR fire the same dia bullet but the speed is much greater in the WMR and you can't shoot a 22lr case in a WMR (it's different and dangerous to do so). I have never had a WMR but I note that there are different bullet weights from 30 gn up to 50 gn available. If the different bulet weights are available that might work. The bullets that you are using might not suit the harmonics of the barrel but if so the point of groups might be different to another batch but should still shoot to a consistant p

I haven't read through this thread but ive just had a brilliant idea. .... The fellows of foriegn origin arrive in Dover. Instead of giving them a train ticket to London or wherever, they are taken to Liverpool and put on a boat over to Belfast or wherever the boats go to. When in Northern Ireland they are taken to the border and given a ticket to somewhere in Ireland. Theres plenty of free space there. The inhabitants like a sing and dance. What's not to like. Bingo, Problem solved. ???????

That is a lovely way òf life. When I went up through Wales there were fields and fields of sheep and maybe a white farmhouse in the distance and I thought,... yes... but where's the electric, water, telephone, sewage, shops, supermarket.? What the he'll do the women do there with no interaction with others.? It's like that tv program .... Alaska, the last frontier. Very pretty scenery, alone, clean life style exactly as you describe but there its so cold and dark and misserable for most of the year . Sitting in a shack for 8 months of the year isn't my idea of fun. there are busses arou

If one similar could be found here in the SE of England with the outbuildings, barn and 12 acres ....12 acres !,,!! You'd be looking at a couple of million. There was a bungalow up the road with about 75yard garden and that went for 750k. Over the road from that property is a shack wooden ( knock it down) style bungalow,........ ( knock it down) style.!! With no planning permission but good view across fields. Being offered for sale with an idea to put several houses on plot. So basicaly a shack, a piece of ground and a vague suggestion. £450 k= aprox = € 523,300 that's before you thro

That's incredible. One minor problem. Does it blow a Gale all the time and have horizontal rain. Detached ☺

Has it got any land with it.? In the south east of England you might get a decent shed if there's any out there for that much. Prices are just crazy. All the foreigners have occupied London which has made all the white people move outwards. Young can't even get a start. Any New houses ain't starter homes. Their all 4/5 bedrooms starting at around 750k !! Minimum wage / zero hour contract! The young .can't even get a deposit. The only thing that can be said is it keeps the rif raf anf fellows of forign origin out.

Yeah it's difficult to handle roof repairs at any time let alone in wet strong winds in the dark. Tin sheets in the wind can be bloody dangerous. The sod about it is that anything inside the shed will be soaking wet and the inside structure of the shed can be wrecked. If the wind is that bad flying debris can be lethal. I remember back in the 87 hurricane many people were seriously injured by flying tin sheets and panes of glass blasted out of greenhouses. I was going down the M2 and a BIG sheet of tin from a road sign was blowing down the motorway like a flying carpet at about 40 mph. If i

Which one ? The tin sheet or the shed or the whole lot ? We had a bit of a sort of light hail shower this afternoon when I was out with the spaniel but a couple of hundred yards further on I was getting that hot in my jacket that I had to unzip it? rained a bit earlier but is still now. I have never seen our lawns as sodden with surface water standing. Definitely a hosepipe ban this summer.

I love it ? " Oi Rover,: Yes you, you b*****d you, get away from that cupboard. !!!! " "ROVER : Bloody cupboard" " it can speak". "b*****d " ????

Perhaps not a good idea in some cases. new technology sends that footage direct to mobile phone and even sends footage to a remote storage unit. Ring doorbells do this. Son in law has one and it is connected to his mobile. A woman down the road has one and when her daughter comes home from school it comes up on her phone. Thw woman can see if shes on her own ect . The picture quality is superb. A couple of strangers called at her door and she put the footage on the local community page. My daughter saw it and relàyed it to me. I'd seen these people and had seen this couple going door to do

Hey man. It's a long way to here. I just noticed your post. What brings you to the conclusion that this problem might be action bedding.? It could be lots of things from a faulty scope, ( although you have a good quality scope ). I have had a scope that I tripped over with and it wouldn't hold aero. A loose mount, A tight point on the stock barrel contact. Using random different batches of ammo, or you are just a crap shot. If the point of impact is moving then the problem isn't consistent. Before you start doing a major rebuild make sure that you have checked the cheap and simple thi

I wonder what breaking strain that is made out of.? A wheelbarrow might be needed. That's bad.

One of the daughters had a neighbour who used to feed the foxes a LOT and they used to arrive and pack up in the daughters garden like those wolves. The foxes would come up to the patio doors and look at the family sitting at table eating Sunday lunch. If the foxes were shouted at ect they would run out of the garden into next doors garden and sit up on a bank at the bottom waiting for the dinner bell to ring. They needed controlling but in a built up area of animal loving neighbours shooting wasn't an option.

I used to be on a site called coyote gods and wolves had killed and eaten a blokes Labrador out in the yard. All that was left was a bit of the lower leg and pad. He was so hacked off about this he went and hunted the wolves down. no prisioners style. If you watch life below zero, Glen Vilenauve was out on the lake and a pack of wolves brought down a caribou. He went towards the kill to take it off or them. The wolves thought they'd got another meal and charged him but he upt with the 30.06 and dropped three of them before they decided to retreat. He probably skinned and ate the wolves al

How are you aware of this fact. Does it have a twist of bog paper on it or does it resemble a 99. I remember a dog did a pile right in the middle of the yard on a shoot day. One of the guns took a kleenex over and dropped it on the steamer. "It looks like a walnut whip" he said. Another said, "clever hundt has wiped it's arse on toilet paper" !! ?????

You got tattoos, piercings or a big fat belly. All affect the image. Beckham or Rabb C. ?? You can get them in Rasta stripe or multi colour from about a couple of quid upward. I aint got any. Something to consider. I don't know how the Mrs might view me wearing one. ??

Still if you were to wear a vicars dog collar that would really zig zag the situation. You might be thought of as a progressive vicar or some sort of gaylord ???
