  1. Im sure Trump will pull something out of the bag. He will never concede defeat. This election is just the beginning - next is civil war. When he has won that and installed himself as The Great Leader of The United States, the Trump family will reign over America for a thousand years. Every county will have a giant statue of Donald in it, where citizens who turn their backs on his glorious likeness will be transported, along with their families, to gulags in Alaska.

  3. If its just a case of smearing some silicone paste on the threads then co2 is co2. I dont see how an unbranded cartridge could damage the system - unless GoodNature have got a manufacturer to produce a cartridge with a unique thread gauge.
  4. Hmm. So is the sealant combined with the co2 gas itself, or do they mean that the threads have a silicon seal on them?
  5. 16g threaded CO2 cannisters are a quid each on amazon. I would be very interested to know what makes GoodNature's so special that they mark them at 5.
  6. I think it would be great for squirrels. If I had one id build it into a box so as to collect the dead ones. Bit more discreet than relying on scavenging animals to take take the bodies away. At the moment I just use fenns in ply boxes - works great, but the resettable feature of the GoodNature trap makes it a winner. Would pay for itself pretty quick and at that price you'd need it to.
  7. There are some impressive videos showing how effective it can be on grey squirrels. I can't imagine it being so deadly on rats. They'd cotton-on eventually and avoid it.
  8. It would be interesting to hear from someone who has successfully used them on squirrels.
  9. Had lots of rats through a Nite Site Viper but as said, cheap and cheerful tech with lots of short comings. Shame the leap from IR to thermal is such an expensive one. Still saving.
  10. I find wild ducks a bit disappointing to eat. Not worth the hassle, unless the owner of the permission wants them cleared from the pond.
  11. Been my best year ever, here in currently raining north Essex.
  12. Can't ever under estimate rats. Tricky blighters. My neighbour had a birdbath that the rats used to have a wash in. I said I fancied a crack at them with the .177, he said be my guest. There was no safe backstop though, so I built one out og 3/4 plywood and positioned it mounted on wooden stakes. All was set fair for a massacre. But the rats never returned. Like they knew....
  13. Why are rats hanging round your smallholding? Good housekeeping goes a long way to keep the rats at bay.
  14. Re. the hw100, theres plenty of long range sub 12 plink videos on Youtube, but this is my favourite
  15. Always nice returning to an old haunt.
  16. A can of worms, then. In my case this Sett is in a village on my doorstep, and on public land too. From a political pespective, it would be an unwise move to get involved. Better done by someone from out of town, I reckon.
  17. Has anyone on here got any experience of this? Been asked to quote for one, but its a first for me. Interested in whats involved, apart from the obvious - JCB, explosives etc What else do I need to consider? All the correct licences will be obtained.
  18. Not for me. Compared to previous years, bee action has been minimal.
  19. Nothing like a fat lady with her growler out. I know what you mean, though. Round our way its the paddle boarders and kayakers - my local river is busier than the m25. Watched through my binoculars as one family tossed the remains of their uneaten picnic into the shallows. The gudgeon loved the drum sticks. Sooner it cools down, the better.
  20. A mate of mine knew a concierge in a London apartment block who knocked out a wasp nest by shimmying up a ladder and blowing antpowder into it with a drinking straw. A little bit of theatre goes a long way in pest control, and I personally wouldnt consider that method for less than £500 + tips, although the concierge did it simply to save his budget. Brave geezer.
