    I think it's only marlin that chamber it in their m94. Think it's based on a necked down 25/20 case which itself is a necked down 30/20. Performance is slightly stronger than hornet. Flat nose bullets are getting hard to find for use in tubular magazines. Hornady make a nice 45 grn. It's like a mini xtp of Thiers. U.

    My Bruno retains the open sights. I personally won't be without them. With scope. With out scope. U.

    Great rifles, any cz or Brno. My Brno, in essence the same rifle, shoots pretty much any ammo. I will plink to 300 yards with mine anytime other than in a gale. RWS, fiocchi, Winchester, CCI and Eley all shoot the same. U.

    Some say it is very corrosive. Not really. Today I shot my trade gun that has not been cleaned for months from the last use, just simply protected with my home made grease. Don't be put off using black powder. Great fun. U.

    Numbers are down this year but I got one in the end. I missed a few, this smooth rifle is shooting high! I need a taller front sight. U.

    Pigeon shooting tonight but realised the old ij18 was shooting high in my hands. So I tore it down and stood on the barrel! Just tweeked it down a shade and went on to hit every bird, well, nearly. U.

    Cz 527 magazine's in hornet can be modded longer bullets. U.

    Had not been on the ground an hour and found sign! Jess and me settled in a favourite crossing point of fox's and badgers to sit it out as dusk approached. In the half light it was Jess that spotted Charlie first and she stayed put encouraged by my whispers. This is her watching. I got the rifle to bare and at a good sixty yards Charlie stopped and took a round. Jess immediately responded and attended to the fox with extreme prejudice! The fox is off pheasant now! U.

    It's ok, just get closer. The gun has to fit and shoot where you are looking, it's critical with a 410. Thanks gents.

    2&1/2" with half an ounce of shot. Using h110 powder. U.

    Had a wee session with the 410 on the woodies this afternoon. I only had 14 reloaded cartridges on me but seven plus one lost and two crows ain't to shabby! That's a treat for the dog and enough for a small meatloaf for me. U.
