    I've never owned a really nice knife but, I'm currently waiting for one to be made so, I'll be interested in the answers that you get. On my basic, cheap gutting knife, I used to use 3 in 1 oil but, for the last 18 months I've been using Ballistol to good effect I think it's more important to not neglect your blade than worry about what oil is used.

    Exactly One ! People have taken the huff when I`ve said an air rifle trumps a shot gun on many occasions,- here`s one of them. atb Mark That was my thought when I saw the pictures - the perfect tools for that job ..... Cracking result Mark Would you even be allowed to take them on the wing with a shotgun there? Good to see Kaiser working again ..... It got me wondering - has he ever retrieved a decoy?

    no it was the only ks in Jon.... think it'll come up nice after I've been up north yeah theres a far bit of grease in the spring action, it might loosen up a bit! if not ill give it a clean, I had to de-grease my .22 that was caked in it and the power went up after id sorted it you'd of pi55ed your self if you were in the shop... my lad had a pocket full of pellets that I didn't know about and when we walked in he asked the bloke if he could test a few kids!! atb si Make sure you check his pockets if you take him shopping when your FAC comes through I do like that lad

    I've run out of likes Si but, I like that mate Did you choose that particular stock? I've chopped and changed rifles a lot over the last 2 years and, to be honest, I don't think the 100 can be beaten. I've heard that clearing the gunk out of the trigger mechanism and then giving it a light oiling can up the power a little

    It makes me laugh mate - they're the same people that'll go and buy a ready made cottage pie I always gut mine at the end of the night and leave the liver and kidneys in until morning - then I can double check that the rabbits good inside and out. Also, I like the liver and, the dogs love the kidneys
