  1. I reckon you'll like this then mate
  2. I'm not a big vodka fan but, this is nice I think it was £22 in Tesco. It's very smooth and better than Grey Goose ......... this has been in the freezer for 24hrs.
  3. I'd be happy with that mate I used to work with a yank - he was in his late 50s and well over 6' 5". ........ he said that all of our burgers were snack sized shit - he said he remembered big burgers that would be leaking grease onto your hands while you ate them.
  4. That does look good .......... it's my only day off this week tomorrow - I might go for that and a nice bourbon
  5. Put something like this on the opposite hill and ditch the WiFi
  6. 3 smartphones in this house, 1 with the alert turned off - none of them went off.
  7. Cheers mate There's not much that I want or need nowadays but, that was spot on.
  8. I'm another year older today so, the missus asked what I wanted for dinner ......... Liver, bacon and onions with homemade chips and marrowfat peas (like Nan used to do in the 80s ). For someone that hates liver and has never cooked it before, she did that very nice ??
  9. It sounds like a right load of old bollocks, akin to the lockdowns - scaremongering shite for the TV tax paying masses. ........ We're in no imminent danger here. I'm sure I've already knocked it on the head - I'll find out at 3pm on St George's day.
  10. That's one worth buying back mate Decent rifles those.
  11. That crackling looks spot on ??
  12. It's when you go over your time and cause delays to scheduled trains. ........ railway firms fling financial penalties around at each other like confetti.
  13. Can't argue with that mate - I do like a nice wood stock and some blued steel but, that looks good
  14. 2 days ago at 2am - I was absolutely soaked and part of the M4 was shut but, because of a top man signalman, these left early and I got home early
  15. Somehow it seems to taste better out of those big ol' jars
  16. Has anyone else seen this film? It's weird as fk - infact, this is the weirdest thing that I've watched since getting home late at night, off my nut in the 90s and, finding some really obscure shit on the telly Apparently the actors won a bunch of awards for this
  17. There's a lot of information available to everyone nowadays - I don't think people are reluctant to hear from experts, I think they don't want to hear experts personal opinions. People want to be given facts and, left to make up their own minds.
  18. Nothing against the rifle mate - I just skipped through a few to try different things.
  19. Good rifles Byron I think the laminate stock is a little heavier than regular wood but, not by much. It's a nice looking thing and, the adjustable butt pad and cheek piece is useful - mine served me well. I can't think of any negatives for it - I fitted an A&M cylinder to mine. It reduced the weight and increased the shot count from 4 mags to 6. ......... it was always an accurate, reliable rifle
  20. Meat-free spicy meatballs. It's not something that I'd usually get but, little 'un wanted to try them. To be fair, they were pretty good
  21. Goose eggs are nice - big ol' yolks but, less flavour than duck eggs.
  22. I love these rifles - the first one that you both worked on has sparked an interest. That first .22 is fantastic - I've finally managed to get a .177 to pair with it I'm over the moon with these old air guns - they're such a well made, basic but usable thing. The single action trigger is good with the the straight pull stock - it takes some work but, a good shot is very satisfying.
