  1. It was a bit of an adventure but, I did move a bit quicker when matey spoke about tunnels collapsing
  2. I have done potholing - it was actually ok until we were wriggling through a small passage and some f****r said 'if this collapses they'll only have to put a gravestone on the top for you' The prick
  3. My missus and little 'un would agree with you mate - I'm the only one that likes mushrooms in this house
  4. It seems a bit distasteful that the families get the same news at the same time as the rest of the world, through the Internet.
  5. Fancied a small one today - Duck egg/salad cream sarnie with tomato and salad.
  6. If that is them, all spread out, I hope they were down far enough that it happened in a split second and, they never saw it coming ?? Poor b*****ds.
  7. Fillet steak and homemade coleslaw today
  8. It's a shitty way to go but, I don't reckon they'll get them back before their air runs out tomorrow. Personally, I wouldn't have gotten in the thing.
  9. Mine was a father's day thing as well today ......... roast chicken and, my favourite - home made lemon cake
  10. I wish we had something other than the usual 3 to vote for around here mate. The amount of Indian names on the local vote is ridiculous....... same as always - the vote is damage control. Folks are slagging off Boris Johnson but, we've currently got an unelected foreigner in No 10 and, no one seems to care. And a rag head as mayor of our capitol city I'll be out of here if I can afford it in a few years ??
  11. Who did that mate? I'd like to get that done for my missus.
  12. Belly pork with sea salt, black pepper and Maple syrup.
  13. It's fkn unreal mate - I'd like to see these things vandalised out of action around the whole country when they appear. The local council said 'Initially, as a trial, the gate will be in operation for 18 months' - 'Trial' my arse. That's just their wording to soften up the locals and give enough time for most of them to see it as normal. It's another freedom being robbed. if we get one round here that effects me, I'll deal with it in a way akin the old ram raids.
  14. Absolute scum mate. We had a really good cat when I was a teenager because my grandad found it as a kitten, sealed in a box and left on a railhead to be run over when he worked for BR. I'm not a cat person but, I always remember her ripping the shit out of a nasty dog that cornered her one day. The dog was owned by an arsehole family that we always feuded with.
  15. 2am this morning, warm and misty. I think some of our lads are scared of working on their own in the dark
  16. I love a bit of Credence It's amazing how loud my transit will play it when I pull up next to some MOBO c**t
  17. It's even nicer when it's free mate I planted some old spuds that were sprouting among the missus flowers. I forgot about it until she dug a bunch of fresh spuds.
  18. It's good to see you enjoying it mate You changed career earlier than me - I was a retail store manager for 15yrs, then I joined the railway when I was 40 - best thing I ever did. I love working out in the countryside with big kit, I wish I'd done it years ago - so it's good to see you move over retail is shite - the employees get hammered by wanker bosses and arsehole customers. Your new life on the river looks ideal
  19. Infact, probably the best thing for this country right now would be a coup akin to the way Africans take over when they've had enough. Retired generals and folk that have had enough walking into Downing Street and the BBC, armed to the teeth, in support of regular folk. ........... a bit extreme I know but, I'd quite like to see it.
  20. None of them care - they're all protected, nothing will ever happen to any of them and, they know it. They're all career shysters that are in it for the pension. If I did such a shit job where I work, I'd be up in court. I'm 44 years old - I can't remember a vote being anything more than trying to pick the least shit from a bad bunch.
  21. That's a blast from the past mate - I remember throwing that up out of my nose when I was 14
  22. We had a little bit of thunder and rain - not much to speak of. I do like a good storm so, I was hoping for loads of thunder and lightning right over head.
  23. Good. Folk around here are generally a quiet bunch but, they will react to anything that they think is not right. The head teacher at a local primary school wanted to have unisex toilets for the kids. The parents weren't going to let her get the thin edge of her weird wedge in at all - she couldn't show her face in the playground at drop off and picking up time in the end.
  24. I did read somewhere that he is or, used to be, quite a handy scrapper. Still a bit of an odd ball though.
