My shooting partner and myself are waiting for the go-ahead to shoot rats at a council site. My pal did a test run and took 17 rats in 15mins.......................................So hope this comes off and politics don't get in the way again. ? Phil

I am green with envy, love ratting Phil
-
You are a lucky man, ratting, just love it but our big rat perm has dried up. Good shooting BN Phil

Always thought you were a sensible type of chap, good decision in my book. Phil

Glad it arrived in one piece Jimmy. Just wait until tonight my friend and you will be pleased with the spotter and for the money.................very good indeed. Phil

Now has two Alan as I found one as well.

No pill but you can have a complete Ultrafire T20 zoom IR Jimmy, you will need an 18650 battery as I don't think I have any spares but if I find one, I will include it. Do you want the mount that is fitted as well me ole mucker. Photo sent to your phone as photobucket will not post photo for some reason. Phil

The x-sight is two or three times heavier and a massive battery drain from the reviews I seen. Many say the X-Sight is better in daylight but not in the same league at night. Phil

Ah fair enough but the gold was definately the ASE90...................................whatever, they are both lovely guns. My rfd had a really nice ASE90 skeet in last year and I was very tempted but at that time I couldn't afford it, then missed out on a DT10 skeet which was a stonker and whilst was thinking about it, someone bought it. Oh well..... Phil

Nooooooo not following RF as he shoots a Caesar Guerini and before that an ASE90 but that is basically the same thing I know. I fell in love with these when they first came out and promised myself one at some stage. They are stunning guns and handle like a dream BUT I am testing a 30'' Caesar Guerini at the moment and the latest version handles just like my DT10 and if I decide to do a deal, I can put a nice lump of cash in my bank, really not sure what to do at the moment. If my cash flow allowed, I would be on my way to Surry to splash out on this baby :- https://www.guntr

Here is mine SL Phil

Must admit to liking the Perazzi MT6 I had many years ago but always come back to Beretta although I have been looking for a s/h Keman trap for a year or two now and perhaps one day the right one will drop into my line of sight. Phil

ooooer, good job I like the guns I have in that case SD Phil

I don't know anyone with a .204 which is a pity as I would love to try one and .40p per round is not so bad, wonder how much a .204 round is to buy in the shop. Phil

Well said that man, it doesn't really matter what you have in the cabinet, just use what you have and enjoy it. In clay shooting we get the 'must have' situation when the top shots are using guns costing over £10k so in order to match their score, you must have the same.....................................not !!!!! As you know Duncan Lawton won the world championship with a knackered remmy 1100 that he would fix as he went round the course. Calibre is not quite the same thing but you take my point hopefully. Just to throw a spanner in the works, I shoot 90% of my rabbits with my FX Impact .25 fac air rifle out to 100mt+ and 300 pellets cost me £11ish ? but of course as a retired ole tart I have to watch the pennies although I would really like to have a .223 in the cabinet but it is on hold again............. Phil

My shooting pal has one Jimmy and for the money they are bloody good BUT you will need the additional lens pack which Ian may include if you ask but even if you have to buy them, they are only about a fiver and with our eyesight Jimmy, they will make a big difference mate. Phil
-
Okay Mitch, who is selling them and I will get a box / tin to try in the standard gun before thinking about plenums. What sort of problems did your friend have with the 25.4 slugs. Phil
-
I am with you on that thought FH Phil
-
I got the impression that .25 slugs have not been the success story that .22 are. Is your pal using slugs or pellets Mitch. Phil
-
Really.............................................well that will finish my membership which was not looking good for long term anyway. Strange that I have not heard this via the monthly newsletter or perhaps it is not official yet. Phil

Whilst I am interested in these developments, I am inclined to agree with you DB. Phil

That Matt Dubber is a clever lad for sure. To be very honest, I am never likey to be in a position to buy an Mk2 let alone a Dubber special but I can certainly admire what has been done here. Phil

Yes I know Si, that was a real cracker and if I could afford to have that AND my clay buster, I would but at £1200 - 1400 it would need to be my main gun which I don't want for trap shooting even though we talked about making a deflector plate, in a line of shooters, it is not a good idea to splatter the guy next to you in empty carts even though it would be good for a laugh. I do like that bloody gun though Si. I am taking Trish's new gun out for a test this afternoon. Phil

Well until I have sorted what I am doing with my shotguns for clay shooting, I will be scratching anything no matter bad the itch. ? Phil
