Thanks Jimmy, so that is 3.4kg..........................hmmm almost a kilo heavier than the 110k which is 2.6kg. 110k is still the one I like either the laminate stock version that you fell in love with or the black which feels so good in the shoulder. Just depends what I can afford or what comes up second hand. Phil

Tried to find out on Weihrauch web site and Hull Cartridge but they don't specify the synthetic stock weight. NP will have got his scope on but I may ask him Jimmy or wait until a new one comes into stock and weigh the bugger. Phil

I saw a titainium air cylinder on one of the forums last night for not a lot of money and did consider buying it then get a green hw100 and it could be removed with air still in the cylinderso a much more advanced cylinder than the A&M unit as I believe they cannot be removed without emptying the tank. Next time Jimmy lets all meet up at a clay shoot and have a session on the clays mate now that I have seen you hit one on the vid. ? Really please you two had a good weekend Jimmy, you were ready for that and I knew Si would make it a good one. Got to say that you look a sleezy old bugger in that third photo or were you still feeling the effect of the night before ? Phil

I agree Si............................totally harsh even if there is an element of truth in it, southern barsteward. Phil

Wonder if the junior version with the short stock makes much difference to overall weight. Phil

Yes nice Mark but why is it in the hunting section or are there some photo's still to be posted. Phil

Waiting for the abuse to fly. ? Pleased for you Jimmy that it is working but what have you done thats different because you were getting pretty fed up with it a couple of weeks ago. Phil

Often wondered how effective this stuff is. Phil

Love crow shooting and have not had much chance this year although loads around, not on my patch. Really nice going SD. Phil

Let yer off Mitch. I bought the 110k in .22 and simply didn't like the calibre too much but the rifle was lovely to shoot so this time I want the .177 Phil

Sounds like a plan, in fact I need to get in touch with David Bontoft regarding clay shooting so I will bring it up with him. Just trying to find the cprrect weight of the green godess, easier said than done with Weihrauch's web site. Phil

Oh god DB, me tooooooo, just love that green stock. Popped in the rfd earlier today and the green 100 had gone, bugger, I was going to weight it as I am sure they are lighter by quite a bit over the wood stock guns and light is lovely ? Phil

Tuned to perfection.........................................held together with a tie strap.................................oh Mitch ? Phil

Nicely put Mitch, I am so looking forward to getting another sub 12 pcp as I also enjoy using them at shorter range. I love my fac Impact and rimfire rifles but so miss my 110k. Phil
-
I knew that, just checking if to make sure you did SD ? ? ?. Phil

Yes I know Mitch, I have already chucked out the idea, I was just trying to save money but as you say, you get what you pay for unless you are a jammy bugger like our Jimmy with his economically priced Raider that he is in love with. I was looking at an hw100 green synthetic stock, the same as Big Napper uses and that was nice and feels much lighter than the wood stock versions but as I cannot afford a new Wildcat Mk3, the 110k still looks perfik to me. I just need to resolve my 12gauge semi auto pigeon gun and koi pond so as always trying to balance the books. I missed out on a 110k l

I have done but it is always better to hear from those who own them. Just noticed it's left hand cocking......................................oh bugger that. Phil

Just looking for a little sub 12 in .177 and saw the Puncher, now I know some of these guns didn't fair too well a few years ago but just wondered if any of you lot has any recent info on this rifle. I will say from the start that it will be used at closer range on feral pigeon, woodies and rats within a max of 35mt otherwise the Impact will be on duty. I like the compact design of this and the fact that I can be turned down to 6fpe if I so wished although to be honest I can't think of a reason at the moment why I would but nevertheless it is there. At 200 shots per fill it will be handy

Thanks Ben but not too keen on the old super 10, I like the shorter lighter rifles like the HW110k or FX Wildcat or something similar. Phil -

I am not a lover of autos either except for hide use where they really excel and another reason why I do not want to spend much money on one. I am toying with a Hatsan that has both a 24'' and 28'' barrels so the 24'' in the hide on pigeon / crows and the 28'' for the geese but not worked out the price yet so we wait and see. to be honest I would be happy with just the 24'' barrel, perfect for quick response for birds dropping in on the deeks. A trail camera from Amazon costing around £45 would be ideal for both day and night, certainly works in the field so should be fine in your house. Phil

What short range scope compatible Pard 007
philpot replied to Julian Wills's topic in Shooting Equipment & Accessories
I rigged up a Hawke Airmax 30SF 3 x 12 x 40 on a pal's rifle and he fitted a Pard007 . The set up did not suit him but in all honesty he just was not in love with the 007 as he had two 008 units which to him were much better. I bought the scope from him and must say what a lovely little scope it is. I am hoping to get another 110k this time in .177 and this scope will be going on that. https://uk.hawkeoptics.com/airmax-30-sf-compact-3-12x40-amx-ir.html Hope that helps. Phil -

Oh my lord, yes I remember that that day, I released the clay from the trap and watched s Jimmy reeled backwards. It was a s/s that a pal gave to me and I passed on to Si Brown so that Jimmy would have a gun to use. I didn't however know there was a fault with the trigger, no problem when the back trigger was pulled first then the front but the front first set off both barrels. I had a shot with it ......................... oh yes it went with a whalop all right. Phil
