  1. Come on boys, you must have some ideas.....
  2. Hatsan do a pink camo 20 bore semi ....................it's the colour, I know. My youngest daughter was wanting one. They shoot well with very low recoil. Phil
  3. Nice to have you back Ethan, there has been a gap in grandad's hunting reports as you were not with him. Anyway, glad to see you are getting back into shooting and perhaps we will see you again in the not to distant future my lad. Phil
  4. I bought an Atlas clone last year to use on my Impact and also on my HW110k but in all honesty, I am pretty fed up with it as it constantly comes loose to the point that I cannot trust the gun to be supported for long and definately not leave it. A guy on another forum made some delrin washers that made all the difference but not on mine. I am using the Dr Bob's bottle ring with my normal bi-pod fitted which works perfectly well but doesn't fit the HW110k without another fitting to convert the weaver rail to take my normal bi-pod. So I would like to get a better version, does anyone use
  5. Looks good Jon apart from those yellow bits, we use them to catch a few carp ................. ? Phil
  6. Ditto.................................you eat some funny stuff with your roast Jon............................west country, funny folk down there. ? Phil
  7. £1119 for the Crown..................................................oooooh I do wish my pension was as good as it should have been ? Phil
  8. Even though the Brocock is from the dreaded Daystate stable, I do confess a liking for a couple of the models and one of them won the Extreme Benchrest in Texas last year so they must be up to the accuracy level needed but again fac level. Phil
  9. Very well said Simon. At times I do wish I had kept the TX that you shot but hey ho too late now. Phil
  10. Save the dosh for the Impact Jimmy......................................no messing with that bloody thing. Phil
  11. I am so pleased that you had a good session lads and also pleased I was not there otherwise I would have been turning slightly green at the new gun Jimmy. Glad it is woeking for you mate. Phil
  12. I was looking at one last week Jimmy but to be honest, I just didn't click with it. I didn't have a shot with it though so perhaps it's okay but I doubt it. Phil
  13. Well at least you only have to turn around to turn the pan off Si and put the kettle on ? Phil
  14. I don't know who the hell that could be.................?
  15. When you cock the rifle, the mag can jump out. I know now that it was not the odd rifle affected as a number of issues were reported and Air-Fective tweeked the guns to sort it. I had my rifle adjusted by Pickering guns to resolve the problem but it didn't completely erradicate the problem although it became far less of an issue. VERY annoying at the time. Phil
  16. Who knows Rez but take it from me that they did and always at night in mud....................? Phil
  17. I have a VW Passat with just over 200,000 miles on the clock, very comfortable, very reliable and average of 48.5 - 50mpg running around and upto 58 on a long run although I must admit I don't put my foot down nowadays as the pension has all on to keep up with fuel prices. The only downside to the Passat estate is they are very low and so not that easy to get in and out as we get older, with only 140mm ground clearance, no good for green lanes, strictly tarmac unless you get the 4x4 version but then road tax goes up and so does the fuel usage. Phil
  18. In my mind the two are not really comparable Phill as one is a bullpup and one a normal length rifle albeit slightly shorter than the 100 series. Perhaps a better comparison is the Wildcat and the 110k as they are both short rifles. I have had two Wildcats in .177 & .22 and confess they are lovely to carry and shoot with 200+ shots per fill (sorry I can't remember exactly how many) but the downside for me was the magazines which jumped out of the gun on a number of occasions plus they are only 8 shot which FX could have improved when they brought the Mk11 out. Do't get me wrong, I rea
  19. As they say in Yorkshire..........see all, hear all, say nowt. They can take the lad out of Yorkshire but they can't take Yorkshire out of the lad even though I live in Lincolnshire. Phil
  20. Hmmm not sure about that Mitch but I really do not know however the Falcons would not feed well in my Wildcat but the RS did perfectly with better groups, who knows !!! Phil
  21. Well spotted Jon. I wish I had Simon's telephone number but I no longer have it but I think our Jimmy mght because it would be a shame to miss out on that if it was of interest. I know Simon with Jimmy's help made a right hand stock into a left hooker so perhaps that does all that was needed, mind you having seen Simon sit four pellets on top of eachother with my right handed TX200 at 35mt, he doesn't really need a left hooker in my book. ? Phil
  22. Don't forget the JSB RS Jimmy which I found work really well in my Wildcat and I am using them in the HW110k. If I pop over to have a look at this wonderful gun, I will bring you a few to try. Phil
  23. I have bought a few Jimmy on ebay and all from uk sellers which arrived in a few days. Here are a couple which are saying they can deliver mid week. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rifle-weaver-rails-Picatinny-rail-for-shooting-applications-8-different-sizes/202325476562?hash=item2f1b89c4d2:m:m9T3ZujWKtW-3MMPEpv5CmQ https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5-Slot-Picatinny-Weaver-Rail-For-Handguard-Rail-Section-Aluminum-2-inch-UK/222902111153?epid=10017294429&hash=item33e6004bb1:g:vXoAAOSw6xJbxg3V https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Airsoft-Bipod-Sling-Swivel-Adapter-Mount-Stud-1-slot-20m
