Don't know Lewis seems to be a lot of plastic in those bits of fur looks more like a dog has spewed up to me. The shit could be a hedgehog I have a few in my garden and that looks very similar. I have bolted Mink a few times and just let the buggers get out of the nets by them selfs. Nearly dived on one day thought it was a black rabbit Lol. They don't seem to stop in one place long and never seen any mess around where I bolted them from. Sorry not much help mate I would leave the holes for a while if you did them not long ago, give them a rest so to speak. Cheers Arry

I live on an estate that the houses are about 75 years old and about 25 years ago they had people selling cavity wall insulation with grants to help. I never took it up and glad I didn't it caused all sorts of problems damp inside and the paint fell off outside. people are now having it taken out or cladding the out side with a special air gap. Cheers Arry

There a pain in the ass now so many of them. They come right up to the weir here hammer the Salmond, somebody told me the other day there was three laid out up there. Hundreds around the coast now hard to catch a Plaice from shore now, rip the Mackerel off the feathers at Hopes Nose. Flounders are scarce they love them. They want a bit of lead in one ear bloody things. Cheers Arry

I take Zinc every day mate which you can get with added vitamin C supposed to help your immune system especially against colds etc. The other thing I take is cod liver oil mainly for my joints but has the add advantage of vitamin D as we can lack that in the winter. Any way all the best to you mate and fireman atb. Cheers Arry

Here are some Chanterelles I find they vary in colour the one we find in hedges and on banks covered in bushes by the river are a buff yellow like the ones you see on sale. Then a brighter one up in the woods on the side of the moors. The one thing is they must cut white they also do not have true gills more like wrinkles. There is a false Chanterelle that I find from time to time usually growing on old wood ant mounds but it does not cut white and it has proper gills. The duller creamy one. The brighter one we find in the wood on the side of the moors. The should al

I have put some of these up before but a few of you lads seem getting interested in foraging for mushrooms. So here is a very safe one the Hedgehog Mushroom it does not have gills but underside of the caps is covered in little spikes. I just brush them off before cooking. We seem to find more in Spruce wood right in under the brash (old cut branches). Because they have spikes and not gills nothing you can muddle it with (Except may be I've been told a brown one that can be found in Scotland I believe). They are White or Creamy and sometimes a light Terracotta and the flesh is white also a miss
