  4. Could be narrow gauge bogey's for moving big timber in a saw mill posable to feed a big band saw. I worked for a timber company when I was young and there was rail lines in the concrete in front of some of the big saws that were not used any more. On one of those bogeys I see a lever with what looks like a roller that I presume is for raising what ever sat on it. Cheers Arry

  7. A Bee Fly look at the size of the proboscis. I had one hanging about last year another back again. Hard to get a photo they don't sit still long. I watch it feeding last year hovering next to a flower and sticking it proboscis in the flower to feed. Cheers Arry
  8. These I made up to keep sparrows off the beetroot also keeps the cat from scratching up the ground. Water pipe and micro mesh to keep the fly off the carrots. Cheers Arry
  9. These are the Cloches they work a treat. Keeps the frost off birds and helps stop splashes keeping the Lettuce clean. Cheers Arry
  10. Think we are lucky down here in Devon that much earlier and mind we did have a frost Tuesday but got the Lettuce under some wire weld mesh with micro mesh on them. They are brilliant I have trouble with Pigeons Sparrows and cats so I cover a lot of my stuff. Will put some photo of the cloches I use as they are so useful. Cheers Arry
