    Nearly dark at 6.30 pm here and there is a Black Bird on the top of the gable end ridge singing his heart out. I am fond of the Black bird and their song. What with the Frog spawn, Blue Tit already looking in nest box and the Black Bird singing for a mate spring is just around the corner. Cheers Arry

    I decided to clean one of my bird boxes out today out 15' up an Oak tree as I knew the Blue tits nested in it last year. I open it up to find about 30 of these bloody great slug in it. Apparently they are Yellow Cellar Slugs. Cheers Arry

    Popping out every where mate I don't like them killing the young next years sport so to speak. But I don't want to lose a permission and we haven't got around to all of them this year, few things happened and crap weather at times. Lucky mine will not stop once they have killed but one of my mates is a bugger and stays. Cheers Arry

    As I said in the post "10 is a good day for us" the young are out in force today. We stopped midday it was hard work young in every burrow will try one more trip for this Farmer he's been giving us grief about the rabbits then thats it. Cheers Arry
