Out for a quick mooch to see if I could find a Chicken of the Woods as SHH would one this week none on the trees I know. Came across this though didn't recognise it " Shaggy Scalycap" unfortunately not edible had to look it up to check. Seek App did identify it but would not trust that with my life. They were like scaffold pole the barrels were browned not blued. I used to beat the hedge with it and if a rabbit bolted off the top have a crack at it Lol. I got pretty good at shooting rabbit with it to be fare. Cheers Arry

Had a Shot Gun an old single Winchester Cooey when you used to get a licence from the Post Office must have been late 60's early 70's I guess. I had permission the other side of town I would walk with my gun just broken over my arm right through town no bother. On the way home at dusk back down the Main Street call in the Oxford inn for a pint put the gun behind the counter and end up playing cards all night. Closing time a little worst for wear gun under my arm again and walk the mile home. After a few years you had to have the gun in three pieces got pull by the law for that but I have told

I my view Russia invading the Ukraine is an attempt to control the West. Ukraine is the bread basket of Europe we rely heavily on the grain and food that come from it. If Russia controlled that like the gas they would have the power. Ukraine is an Independent country being invaded we are just supplying weapons for them to defend them selfs. Guys I would encourage you to give up the fags, I just lost my brother-in-law (best mate)to Cancer he would not give up even though I nagged him to. He got Cancer of the oesophagus and was getting bad reflux he had a really big operation and the chemo. Looked like he was getting over it all then came back in his liver went down hill in a few weeks. Saw him on the Monday said our good bye's (bloody hard one that) gone on the Wednesday. At the same time his wife my sister got a lump in her breast she smoked all her life as well. So please Guys give the shit up. Arry

Never had a problem with the old ground clearing piles on the top often more than one would slip out. We had a close one once down near the river in oak woods though where the boulders are as big as cars they were down a long way and speaking. To get them out we geed them up by all firing shots and shouting as if one had bolted they came out absolutely knackered. Think if we hadn't got them out when we did most would not have got out and there was no way in. Cheers Arry
