The 28g Toby is a good allrounder but as Archie says the Black Minnow is killer for Bass. For the Lads may be float fishing for Mackerel might be less stressful for you mate. A Polystyrene float with ball weight something like 1/0 Aberdeen hook and strip of Mackerel for bait and only ever put hook through once so it flows in the tide. If you get my drift. Good fishing to you and Lads Cheers Arry

They are very good easy save time and supposed to save on energy. I have the Ninja Food dual zone air fryer which is right for just wifey and me. I don't do veg in mine as I steam all my veg. I mainly do Frozen chips as so quick and easy. Home made fish cakes, fish and chicken pieces in bread crumbs good so are sausages and chops. Baby Spare ribs are a favourite of ours I do them in tin foil for about 30 mins the open tin foil and based with bbq sauce excellent. Steaks still get done on the BBQ lol. Cheers Arry

Cod I did in the Ninja but been craving some deep fried Maris Piper chips and for a difference I did Wedges. Boiled the wedges for 2 minutes let the dry in a colander then deep fried at 140c for about 7 minutes then 180c for about 3 minutes, really nice mate. Got loads of Runner beans and getting bit fed up with them Lol. Cheers Arry

Couple of sisters mate from a good line think they are going to be big for Gills, I hope so as I lost two big Gills to old age earlier in the year. They don't seem to mind the water my 5 year old Gill runs off if she so much as get a foot wet. Cheers Arry

Got mine in a run on the lawn with old fishing brolly over them a seed tray with no holes full of water and frozen chicken wings about midday. Put a ping pong ball floating in the seed tray the two young kits were straight in they could not resist it the older 5 year old have none of that. Spray the whole thing down every now and then. Had to put little wire hoops around the seed tray little buggers tip out else. Cheers Arry

Got two pairs of Black Birds feeding young still think this is the third clutch. Been watching mother feeding quite large Fledgelings. Thought this Fledgeling was in real trouble thought I would be able to pick it up but it sort of came to it's senses and hopped off into the hedge. Think the heat is getting to them. Cheers Arry

Well it's been hot and we didn't feel like much and couldn't decide what we wanted. So I did some sticky spare ribs couple of new potato's dug up half an hour before and a Tomato with Oregano from the green house. Rib's from a new Butcher in town gets his pigs from a local farmer that runs them free range in woods. Although I didn't feel like much to be honest could eat that all over again. Cheers Arry

September I think my favourite month Kev great sea fishing, good for mushrooms and fungi. Ferreting end of the month to train Kits up. Still warm (usually) leaves starting to turn nice light. As you said in another post telling your kids how lucky they are to live where live. My old man would stop look around and say "do you know people down here don't appreciate where they live". I don't think theres a days ferreting with my mate that we don't stop look at the view and say you cant buy that. Probably just trying to catch our breath us old fuckers Lol. Lot of out perm's are steep mind bu

I always said I would try them but never got around to it, cant see why not. Reckon fillet them (easy filleted) and flash fry them might work. We used to get big one about a foot long about a mile out from where SHH is netting the Skerry's Banks but when you caught prime fish out you tend to forget the Lance. Cheers Arry

I'd sooner drive the narrow lanes than duel carriageways and motorways. Its well handy knowing the network of lanes when there are traffic jam or heavy traffic mate. Cheers Arry
