Handle as much as possible feed little strips of meat by hand so they associate you with food. If you can when they nip try gently pushing or holding your finger in their mouth they then try to push your finger away, if you get my drift. Cheers Arry

I've a mate that I've know since wetas kids and he has suffered with it all his life. Remember when he was a kid his face was bad and he got a lot of bullying etc because of it. Was talking about it a while back and he now controls it with Apple Cider Vinegar he even baths in a solution of it, I don't know the strength. I know he got a load of it for free some how from what was left in a barrel or something like that. You wouldn't know he has it now but has to stay on top of it. Cheers Arry

So, Tell Us, What Are Ye All At In The Veg Garden?
Arry replied to JohnGalway's topic in Living Off The Land & Game Cooking
I have harvested about half of my second early spuds in tubs (Nicola) and the compost was like saw dust. I should have watered a lot more mate. I thought they were going over but could have been just droughted. I grow second early's because we get a lot of blight here which tends to stricken about the middle of July. So they are harvested before it's about. Cheers Arry -
Does anyone take their ferrets to the vets?
Arry replied to Joeboe2000's topic in Ferrets & Ferreting
I'm with Socks, Old Phil and Katchum on this one. A good ferret is well worth looking after and if it need a vet it will have a vet. Cheers Arry -

I was up on Dartmoor back along and took a mate to see Grimspound supposedly Bronze Age 1300BC. Don't know if any body is interested but I like the stone circles, hut circles, clapper bridges and standing stones etc. A massive circle 150 meters in diameter with the remains of hut circles inside. It's easy to find only a short walk from a lay-by and Free if your down this way on holiday. Grimspound - Wikipedia EN.WIKIPEDIA.ORG Cheers Arry
