  3. Pups look to be strong things fellers.
  4. Sometimes ill tell my dog to hunt in the dark. Seen few dogs pull up at hedges but if hearts there they should follow.
  5. Lamp and daytimed all my dogs never had a problem to be honest
  6. I dont see how in 2 an a half years a dog wont bump into a few bits out and about ? Ive struggled to keep 6 months old pups off stuff lol
  7. I dont mean pushing them to jack i mean alot of them seem happy now and again but when work loads increases will wait for mistakes and overun stuff. When youve seen it youll see it more if that makes sense.
  8. Id call that carrying a dog. When you see what good dogs are capable of it sets a bar dont it. Ive seen a couple that i liked alot but very few and far between
  9. 95 per cent of coursing dogs will crack if run hard enough. But the blood is good mixed.
  10. Done alot of it ferreting at night. Nice feeling to walk off a place ya know loads have passed but not been able to do.
  11. Think youll do same job with a peirced tin of fish put out day before.
  12. Dont think anything can touch a real good bushing terrier really. I like a dpg thats trying to kill whats its hunting and doesnt run cover unnecessary.
  13. Quite a rubbish one for your bit of the country sussex ? Seen some real big lads down your way.
  14. Id have another one in a second but id like 3/4 patt 1/4 cocker for what i do. Steadiness off a terrier but hopefully keep the obediance n bit of retrieve of the cocker
  15. Cocker x terrier ? Good little dogs aint they
  16. And the reason land is sometimes driven and damaged caused is because when one man and a dog is having a walk div farmers and keepers come over mob handed giving it large ones but when get a little bit of stick back quickly get the phone out and only get brave again when plod are on the scene. Instead of using abit of sense and telling someone to leave some get abit exited older keepers are the worst for it ive found. Met some that when shown abit of respect showed it back perhaps if more was abit similar wouldnt have so much of this damaged caused ?
  17. Some the better posts i seen on here is pics of rabbiting and ratting in all fairness. Forget who but used to be some great pics put on here at one time
  18. Was thinking same myself not many hunting posts on forums these days.
  19. What ya want one of them for down here socks ? You not worried if it sees alot might start to be bit too clever ?
  20. Then on the other hand have a walk one man one dog on the land first light you end up copping for someone elses actions so why cause ya self hassle of trying to do it respectfully as possible when u can be on and off in a motor ? Easy for folk who potter same bit of land twice a month to point fingers at lurcher folk trying to find work for there dogs and push them abit but its not all cut and dry. If keepers and police didnt overeact thered be more people just having a quick walk fact.
  21. No i havent pal dont use facebook myself. Im in no mad rush tbh
  22. Cheers greyman been offered few quid for it but rather have a chop for sommat.
