Yeah little machine.she seen the whole lot with me and had a good go out everything. Bit hit and miss yapping on rabbits but screamed on other things had odd day out when she was a little bit stale and other dogs had to pick up the slack but i coulda lived with that. had a deal with a young boy whos got her now i think the plan is to put her back to a terrier id put money on them bieng good offspring if they dont start dropping in little bit of that spaniel blood goes along way.

And when i say one day a week fellers i dont mean pottering here n there for couple rabbits. I mean taking ya dog to acres of common scrub n gorse and asking ya dog to push rabbits about for the lurchers or taking them in christmas tree plantation and getting them pushing muntjac about and connecting with any the guns wound then theres the getting in out the water swimming about with geese and ducks to carry back but also bieng steady enough to poibt odd bits sat tight. I can take or leave the ratting and ferreting to be honest thats mainly what im wanting a small dog to do what ive put above.

What i mean is fireman ive had spaniels that when worked hard got sore round there eyes took some stick to there chests. With this coat i cant see the dog staying sound. I sort of know what im after and all the times ive known people get into this breed and eventually get out has made sense to me now. This little dog suit a moocher hedgerow basher sort of person thats out once a week or whatever but i get out abit more than that doing allsorts and the dog isnt for me and as i said earlier dont think id have another as a gift.

From what i seen and other lads are telling me alot are half hearted soft types like busy idiot dogs. Id put mine down as like a close working beagle. The coat is deffo a problem i dont think i will bother with one again for what i want in a terrier theres no way this dog would keep hes looks after a hard winter ripping bramble and gorse. So quest continues for the type of terrier im after this dog will do someone just pottering around hedges and that lovely though.
  14. How do people get on feeding ox heart ? Sometimes struggle to get fatty beef cuts so buy this instead never had no problems with it but feeding plenty of everything. I usually dont bother with the mince heard minced tripe is bleached and cooked anyway.
  15. I dont tie them but from what i seen ya best off wrapping n tucking. Constrictor knots get tighter n tighter.
  16. They breed all year mate. Hares aswell seen leverets most months of the year
  17. Katch you should know by now there the ultimate allrounder day or night lol
  18. Ive used them all i do like a garmin especially if you like to mark earths and that but gotta ask yourself is it a good thing having all that information stored in some areas.
  19. If u only need compass might aswell buy dogtrace.
  20. Couple lads round my way are using them cheap scouts they really rate them good thing about them is can shoot through aswell as over.
  21. Dont think youll go wrong with gzk but sheshou are decent dont rate the precise.
  22. There cheap enough sint they just buy a few different sets and see what ya like. I like the 65 at the moment but im only headshooting stuff with small steel
  23. Walt got ya band on wrong there pal need to turn them over looking at the pic
  24. Ebay. Depends what u like i prefer lighter bands now on the sheshou .65 i think it is. Wouldnt touch theraband with a bargepole.
  25. The few rough dogs i seen get hot quicker common sense aint it especially early season can end ya night prematurely so i reckon they go better not carrying too much wieght looks very heavy in that first pic but if its keeping ya happy best of luck. Deffo a doggy bitch in pics. Seen a couple pure wheatens seems that people go mad on them for a minute then get out of them.
