Not quite mc,had a successfull night Friday past,our big 11 year old dog,5/8 grey bull,but looks like a heavy straight half,caught two within half hour of each other,then my sons wee fawn bitch caught one,first time seeing one,done well for first time,but she's too small for then,then next night my mates bitch caught two reds,she has same dam as the 11 year old dog,she caught thirty single handed last year,he wants to top that this year

Assuming you are not talking about the O ring . I've never taken a Goodnature piston assembly apart . So l have to ask ,where and what is the " diaphragm "? Goodnature are not renowned for their after sales service . Their distributors are well stocked with expensive accessories but not basic service parts . From what l've heard though they don't have the inclination or knowledge to do repairs . Once the unit is out of warranty they don't want to know.

When we were younger I remember a couple of anglers who I respected massively telling me " No point fishing the dam theirs nothing in there" then over the years ive seen all of them up there at one point with a rod in hand If you go up again I would encourage you to go on the RSPB walk before you get to the dam. Not only is it a stunning walk but it is also where Twm Sion Cati ' s cave is . Hes sort of the Welsh robin hood type who hid away in the mountain that walk is around. It is truly a stun
