I say it how I see it , they is probably some lads that come on this forum that genuinely had a reason to dislike and distrust Plummer ,but what I was saying is a lot of folk jump on the bandwagon and they didn't even know him . About 3 weeks ago my whippet started to bleed from a nail bed, despite salt water soaking and antiseptic the toe swelled and he ended up on a course of antibiotics. The swelling never completely disappeared and yesterday it started bleeding again, you can see the "tide marks" on the claw illustrating the time gap. I took him back to the vets and they want to remove the claw. Which seems an extreme response to say the least. Over many years I don't remember a nail injury that swelled like this does so I'm interested What's your experience with nail bed infections? Anyone with experien

No mate, I took a beddy type and a first x deer/grey last time. Im hoping to be doing a lot of hunting this time that my current bitch isn’t really suitable for. Plus it’s far easier, quicker and cheaper for me to fly than to drive and get the ferry with a dog in tow. Cheers.

Next time she's stiff at night, only when she's calm try pushing each back leg back (like the bone man does) if she shows any discomfort in either leg it may be her hips. Hip dysplasia doesn't show itself until approx 12wks of age. Pit bulls are prone to it. I've had dogs with it. Young dogs seem to be absolutely fine most of the time, you will only notice it when they are tired/walking slowly. When their brain is engaged and their up on their toes you cannot see it.
