Yes mate, I read the article and what I got from it was they didn’t say you have to give your biometrics or we close your account. It looked like they were closing dormant or dodgy accounts. Don’t get me wrong, I’m dead set against central digital currency and banking, I think it’s too authoritarian and too open to abuse by a corrupt government.
