They are ok for chubI always use a decent carp hook,size 10/12 for pellet/bollies,size 6/4 for big lobworms/meat.... I would of said none, because 14kg is around 30lbs and that would be a monster, I’ll have shot loads around the 14lbs mark and a handful around 20lbs, this was the biggest one I’ve shot, this was an old dog and although I didn’t weigh it I would of guessed it was somewhere between 23 and 25lbs, it’s rare to see anything over 20lbs around here but quite common down south and up in Scotland, I was reading somewhere a few weeks ago that a 38lb fox was shot in Aberdeenshire, that would of looked like a wolf
