I rarely find anything to watch outside of documentaries, or factual based historical or practical YouTube bits and pieces, part of becoming a grumpy tyrannical person I guess....

Bosun11 537 Posted Wednesday at 07:05 Report Share Posted Wednesday at 07:05 Not sure if I put this up a couple of years back when I first watched it but... Land - Starring and directed by Robin Wright. A grieving woman decides to escape to the Wyoming wilderness. I found it a cracking film, with a gritty performance by Wright. For those wanting to 'escape' to wilderness, and for those that think 'feck that', it's worth a watch.

I'm not surprised you haven't seen it they originally only broadcast it a couple of times after they made it. Iirc it was filmed and broadcast in 1984 and then again in 1985 for the 40th anniversary of the first nuclear bomb drop along with war games,a similar 1960's programme that was deemed too distressing to be shown at the time. I think it wasn't shown again until the early 2000's. It and War Games were on bbc2 the other day and are probably on i player and wirth a look

Bobtheferret 1,272 Posted Friday at 20:01 Report Share Posted Friday at 20:01 Just watched Territory on Netflix about a huge cattle ranch in Australia. Netflix trying to compete with Yellowstone basically, very watchable. Not as good as Yellowstone but if you like that you’ll like this.
