honestly,i wont be taking part in the back and forth crap,their just dogs end of day..i hope to have sport with and all the other owners ,if they make it then great,if they dont i will be dissapointed as i did my research before i picked a stud,there were 3 kelpies i was looking at,1 was a slinky sneaky behind the car hiding type of dog,the other had a fairly aggressive disposition,im near 60 years old now,i look for a companion as well as a worker ,they will do me just fine

they be fine mate,  its what you use the  for dog that counts, rabbiting day/night they be spot on deff, maybe the odd deer or fox,  if you bump into them. Regards speed they be fast enough, for both my 1xs  have plenty of pace bryn was fast in his day , and Buck can shift, he covers ground quick with his long stride. with the temp of the x you bred , there prob have enough guts in them   as well. like said on here before i had , a 1/4 kelpie 1/4 collie x grey  , and she deff had differnt temp to the colliexs ive had , she was tough animal mentally + physically  , her down fall maybe , she got to sharp with other dogs, and at watch her with other people, me she was 100%  with me though. Being honest in some ways i preferred  her temp to my colliexs and  gsd x ,  as my 2 dogs now are very sensitive   Buck more so than bryn , and as you say you got to live with the fookers aint we . dont get wrong mate, i know if Buck was as nasty as her , he kill a dog or damage it very badly , i couldn't loose him off the lead, bryn sharper with dogs than him, not nasty but wont stand any shit, like Buck might. for my self now as old bloke older then you mate  67, yup old fart now, if i ever get another dog and prob wont, it be lurcher x lurcher  maybe somthing  like beddy x grey x collie grey , just bit of both breeds in the mix, but prob finish me time with Buck, and he piss over any ( rin tin tin)  as you say  lol . anyway mate enjoy your pups    Ray
