Fascism: I sometimes fear...

I sometimes fear that

people think that fascism arrives in fancy dress

worn by grotesques and monsters

as played out in endless re-runs of the Nazis.

Fascism arrives as your friend.

It will restore your honour,

make you feel proud,

protect your house,

give you a job,

clean up the neighbourhood,

remind you of how great you once were,

clear out the venal and the corrupt,

remove anything you feel is unlike you...

It doesn't walk in saying,

"Our programme means militias, mass imprisonments, transportations, war and persecution."

Fascism

Any form of behaviour perceived as intolerant, or oppressive; esp. the advocacy of a particular viewpoint or practice in a manner that seeks to enforce conformity.

Hang on a minute :hmm:

Correct. Of those nine countries some receive more back in trade within the EU than they  put in.  When they hand the dosh over to Brussels and Brussels then divvies it out to the poorer EU count

If you want to see hatred look at the political left. From antifa to momentum to unite against hate.  We arnt full of hate we are just pissed off.  Being against giving power to the eu isn't

What the latest news has demonstrated is that May's policy of appeasement to the EU was similar to Chamberlain's appeasement towards Hitler in the 1930's. By standing up to the EU and removing any hop

Facism starts with silencing political opposition and Brainwashing the young.

Do you really believe being against mass immigration makes you a fascist?

I believe most leave voters, along with most people who have been branded 'right wing' are far from fascists. I believe most of us believe in freedom to live your life however you want. But we want self rule and a country with pride to leave to our kids.

Our forefathers died fighting facism and most of us want to honor them by leaving a country they would be proud of.

"when fascists rise again they will be know as anti fascists"

Errrr......have you looked out the window lately?

Last I heard they were trying to lock up shite jock comedians for making silly jokes and battering lads doors down for saying nasty names at football.

They have reduced the army to under 100,000 which is technically a militia.

War after war after war in the last 30 years

Folks persecuted daily for everything from a parking ticket to a late council tax payment.

Shall I go on?

Isn't a petition to revoke article 50 really a vote against democracy. We vote in a referendum and the result was leave. Parliament voted for Article 50 and was pasted.

So we have a group of traitors that are trying to bring down this democratic country.

Just what sort of country do they want?

One where the ordinary man/woman has no say.

A dictatorship.

We are on a dangerous road right now in my view.

Cheers Arry

Only because the amount of people crashed it

When  it gets to 17 million I'll give a F!

Why? The 17 million who voted leave in the referendum were (largely) genuine people entitled to vote. This petition has everyone and their dog signing multiple times and who knows where they are in the world? I expect Junker has been up all night signing it over and over.

Why not run a petition alongside this one for people still pro leave.

I think the referendum vote was bigger than any petition....and when I last looked the majority voted leave..

If they miraculously make an amendment to mays deal and it's allowed to go before parliament again and it some how satisfies all the now disgruntled mps , then we leave with a deal . Failing that we will leave the EU on the 29th as written in law and voted for by the British people.

untill they change the law...
