Trump Under Fire

Recommended Posts

Without going into too much detail, my current job is developing and launching digital products in the global construction industry. I’m working with partners in the industries of the UK, Nordic’s, western and southern Europe, North America, Aus, Middle East. The UK is by far the most overly regulated market I deal with. Countries that we would look to as our societal superiors like the nordics do not have to deal with the regulations that we do.

You no it makes sense mate, this one is also cat C sea worthy so I can really get on if needed and if nothing happens don’t think it’s a bad move anyway, like yourself have felt things were not right

It makes me angry when idiots on tv say the state pension is a “benefit “ ! Its not ! If you haven’t paid into it in the form of so many years National Insurance contributions, you don’t get a pe

That surprised me too tbh. Seemed ‘off’ for him.

I liked his post about Polanski though, trying not to alienate everyone who feels disenfranchised with the mainstream but are currently left leaning. That shows a lot of political intelligence imo.

Me too mate, In fact I said exactly the same (well sort of) on here the other week after that Manchester by election when everyone was saying “oh, how have the greens won that ?”

I tell you this for nothing, Reform DID have the next GE in the bag…..but they don’t anymore.

Im not the only lad seeing them melt like an ice cream in the face of an opposition party who don’t give two fucks what anyone thinks….namely, the greens !

We’re 18th out of over 200 countries! That’s not “very low” imo.

The problem we have in this country is regulation. We’ve got huge industries built around our national fear of some c**t stubbing their toe on a non compliant traffic cone etc. we’ve created so much waste out of fear that we now have no money or the bureaucratic freedom to do anything constructive about it.

We could spend more but we need to get over this paralysing fear that makes us turn a 10k job into a 500k “programme”.

Stats depend on the criteria used to compile them. But I've just looked at the IFS and the Office for Budget Responsibilty figures and they both show that welfare spending  is not excessive in comparison to other countries.

On a personal note, I read you're a new dad. Congratulations. Enjoy.

Are you happy or will you be happy in the future  paying ridiculous fees for child care provision? Are you confident the NHS will provide a top class service for you and your family? In many citizen centred countries top class nursery ( not staffed by 16 year old untrained girls) provision is free and they have world leading health provision.

We are important enough to have the same.

If you open the list on this link. It shows that our welfare spending is at a very low level. Second bottom in fact, with the USA at the very bottom. No surprise there.

We do not spend anywhere near the level of the nordic countries, France, Germany or Spain.

What else is a government for but to provide for its citizens? Much more needs to be spent on health, children, the elderly and defence.

During Covid , many  infected people attended work because with state sick pay at less than £ 100 per week, they could not afford to take time off. It's estimated that many people  were needlessly infected and subsequently died, simply because sick pay was derisory. In many more civilised countries, sick pay and unemployment pay can be up to 90% payable for up to a year.

Public services in this country are starved of resources.  Our roads,  hospitals, dential provision and education are a national disgrace.

More welfare and public spending? Yes!

But then I'm a Marxist, Leninist, left wing , secret green, secretNew Labour supporter and socialist.lol But maybe, just maybe, I write some common sense.

Let's make the UK great again!

Spend some money on our welfare!

We are allowing 200 camel jockeys a day sign on and our welfare bill is higher than income tax generates meanwhile disabled British people are having there benefits stopped sounds like we are doing really well you mad leftie lol

Thank you for those few kind words. I shall cherish them. Shall I put you down as a no then for my visionary new UK?

Here’s a thing, we are rich enough to look after our own…..and we should, when they need it.

But, as with most ideologies, there’s only ever one way to skin a cat…..there isn’t !

So you mention child care there, here is an idea, instead of taking more off him to give back as a “benefit”…..how about taking much less of him so that child care no longer becomes a consideration ? As a family, only one has to work ?

Childcare and nursery taken care of in the best possible environment for a child….namely, at home with a parent !

Instead of pressurising housing and allowing the cronies in investment banks to digitally ride roughshod over every c**t at will just so you can track every move they make whilst enslaving them to unplayable debt so the cronies make 50 gazillion dollars…..what about stopping that scam and having a bit of loyalty to your own people, get these f***ing Shylocks back in their place and get off your peoples backs ?

We have more “state” than we have ever had and everyone is skint and f**k all works…..it’s ludicrous in my opinion to think “what we need to do is more of that !”

We’ve done “take more”……let’s give “take less” a try and combine it with a bit of putting your peoples best interest front and centre in every single regard and bringing our population levels back to exactly the place it should be at !

I just hope it's all sabre rattling, tub thumping bollox. If what's coming out of Trump's mouth is for real and not a lot of hot air designed to throw a scare into the Iranians, then those around him must invoke the 25th amendment and get rid as soon as possible.

The only continually hostile and aggressive country in that part of the world is Israel.

Time for the American people to rid themselves of their influence.

Stop shitting yourselves, what did you all think was going to happen in this f***ing abortion of reality you have all been voting for and in some cases condoning ?……Trump is the perfectly natural outcome of everything that has come before and is happening still !

Women have followed the propaganda about being bored at home and their precious 'careers'.

But they end up stressed out, guilty and popping pills or supping  vino every night.

How did that happen anyway ? That it now takes two wages to live even modestly? The whole thing needs restructuring so that women can be at home looking after their babies.

I don't remember voting for that fuckwit. And I am worried. This situation is a horror show.
