  2. Hello Philluk, Just replying to certain posts you wrote about regarding working in the hunt service. I did find your posts very interesting and you made some very valid points regarding certain Huntsmen regarding hunting with hounds. It is always the case regarding certain type characters in life, not just regarding hunting but many more aspects in life. An old boy once remarked that the (B,,,,,,,S always get by in life. 'And it is certainly true'. We all know that there are many types who just have the knack of bluffing their way through in almost any situation. I have seen
  3. Nicola Sturgeon once sat on a bus next to a Mussie so think she would be in favour of Halal slaughter f**k it blame the "Religion of Peace" anyway I always thought you were a c**t now I know you are lolol another easily fended Muslim. Ffs desertbred I thought you were made of tougher stuff Just remind me what has Halal slaughter got to do with the Hunting Ban as for easily offended LOL you certainly don t know me I'm fairly sure it was to highlight the double standards in the politics. That one minorities foreign cultural practices are considered untouchable and yet another's (ours)
  4. FIRST BLACK NUTTAL / GOULD HIT ( IRELAND )WATERFORD DIRECTION 30 YEARS AGO, ANYONE THAT THINKS THERE KERRY BLUE IN THEM ARE TALKING OUT THERE HOLE !!!!!!!! AND THATS A FACT....... Was at Stacey many yrs back as a lad with my mate who had a blue dog out of Satan. Stacey clamed the dog was bred down from a Kerryblue dog imported from ireland, he had no need to lie.. I bought a 3/4 Brightmore 1/4 Stacey bred bitch from a mate of FSin 1983, and he also gave me the breeding of the bitch. I asked Ken about Satan, and he told me that he used bitchs bred down from this dog mated to Smithy to cre
  5. For what it's worth Gouldy didn't really get going with the black dogs until early to mid 80s like skinthegoat correctly said. And he stated the best dog he ever had was a jackRussell which was lost underground.Everyone knew he was a dealer. Not pulling him down but a friend once said to me Gouldy would sell his wifes underware if ever he got the chance.
  6. I know this is a post of a very long time ago, but did you know joe Heffernan well? Lutra Lutra.
  7. Neil, I suffer bad depression but that made me laugh. Excellent! The same as Tomo said regards wanting to smash your television. Also some other funny and also many valid points being put forward. Personally i'd like to see Roger waters in a boxing ring with the somewhat curly haired buffoon. 'I know who I would have my money on. By the way lads, Roger did hold a concert in the aid of the countryside alliance, supporting the hunting cause. I also think Roger Daltry was there also, because I think he is into fieldsports also. I heard he had his own trout farm also. So in my opinion, from buying
  8. Tomo, excellent remarks! Still see you have a good sense of humour.
  9. Many years ago I followed and brought all of (Queens) records. We saw them on 2 occasions in concert at Newcastle and then at Knebworth. I loved their music and also all the members of the band; my hero was Freddie Mercury. I admired (Brian May ) with his guitar work being amazing and also an excellent musician. However, nowadays my admiration has turned to total "irritation" due to his stance regarding (ALL FIELDSPORTS), the badger cull and especially is ignorance towards fox hunting. He has no knowledge of the subject he so says he is so passionate about. As people will already know he has h
  10. Jessdale Thank you for your reply regarding the subject on binoculars. The Swarovski binocular I love as I have a pair of Swarovski 10x42 EL and they are just simply superb. It is very difficult to say which are the best; but I'd say the main 3 big players in the game are Swarovski, Leica and Zeiss not in any particular order. However, like you have correctly said regarding the Vortex bins, they are very good for the much lower price tag and are brilliant optics. I am considering buying a pair also. I also have a pair of Leica 8x32 bn which in my opinion take some beating. Also
  11. For my penny worth regarding Robs Taxidermy mounts. It is obvious he loves doing his Taxidermy items and that clearly shows and I wish him well in his future work. However, what I have found through seeing a lot of work done over the years,is that even the top guys in the business always seem better at doing certain specimens than others. For example Rob has mounted certain Red foxes, but they for some reason just didn't look quite like the arctic fox he did, meaning of course they didn't look quite the natural thing. But to be brutally honest I certainly couldn't work to such standards due t
  12. Rob58, have you ever looked at some of Carl Churchs work, or Mike Gadd? Very good stuff. Don't let things bother you as everyone has an opinion, I don't think the lad was being nasty. You will always get somekind of criticism, especially when you get more better at a certain subject.
  13. Neil, I like that. "Very good statement.
  14. Just writing with some interest to hear if any of our readers whether they be terrier men, lurcher lads, hunting guys or just general birdwatchers if they use binoculars when going out into the great outdoors? If so, what type binoculars do you have and which type do you think are good bins? Since early childhood days we have always taken some kind of binocular with us. It is surprizing what one can find and observe, and to be honest many foxes have succumb to myself using a pair of good binoculars. There are many guys on here who love their photography with much passion, so I may perhaps get so
  15. Hello Alimac, Just been reading the great news about the safe recovery of your little terrier bitch. What wonderful news! Like most of the followers on here have correctly said 'NAME AND SHAME' these low lifes in our society. If any genuine person found someones dog they would of course want the dog back with it's rightful owner. 'I find it most delightful when genuine dog lads unite together". 'Once again so happy it was a good result'...... Sincerely. Lutra Lutra.
  16. Neil, I will see if any friends have any photos of the cinnamon Chaffie. I have a friend who has bred the white mutations and we had a white bird here some years back. In my opinion you could never say such birds are common in the wild, due to the simple factor being, how often due we come across such varieties? Perhaps you will already know we do get different colour abberations in the wild and in captivity of many birds. Also slighty off topic an Eygptian Nightjar was shot here in I think the late 1800s. A well known sporting naturalist had the specimen mounted by a certain Taxidermist; and
  17. Pinnacle, could you tell me what camera gear you use please? Been looking at your photos, very good!
  18. Nice picture! I flew a (Musket), male Spar while still at school when I was 15 years old. My brother flew his Musket also and sometimes both flown together in a cast. Wonderful birds, and perhaps one of my favorites. Lutra Lutra...
  19. top-rabbiting-man, really I wouldn't waste your time and effort as you cannot get an intelligent response to your advert. If people think the dog is too expensive then why do the reply with childish remarks. There will be always someone who comes along even at a price some people regard being too expensive. At least if someone does give you the price you are asking, you can be sure it will get a good home. Lutra Lutra.... its lutra lutra with his special russels, show us a pic of these mutts, are you sure you aint Mr bluck? I know he also thinks all dogs have a price tag lol Here we go a

  22. Hello Matty, Just replying to your post regarding dog wormers. Panacur granules are good, just read the instructions. It will treat both Tapeworm and Roundworm infestation and also Lungworm in dogs. Drontal plus is good. What I use nowadays is Milbemax which is a broad spectrum wormer for dogs. It will treat gastro-intestinal roundworm, hookworm, whipworm, tapeworm and lungworm. Best regards. Lutra Lutra....
