  1. Bush Rummager, never done much at Budby. However, every year at a certain place I do watch the Honey Buzzards. Budy is a nice location.Me neither to be honest. Just never seem to get around to it. We had a week away on Skye a few months back, clocked over 1300 miles. We were lucky enough to see the Sea Eagles from the Portree boat trip. All seemed a little staged to be fair! Still great to see nonetheless. But to top that, great views of a breeding pair of Golden Eagles... right out of our cottage window! Absolutely awesome! Those sights will stay with me forever.Somtimes i do kick myself for
  2. Bert actually did dig that amount of badgers and on one occasion my brother went to a certain farm with Bert because badgers had been taking and killing the piglets. In the house stood some old large Whisky bottles, all full of gold sovereigns.Their eyes transfixed on the bottles. But both trustworthy people. Good times!
  3. Hello Jossa, I don't want to know how old you are my friend, that of course is your business. Just wondered if you ever knew Billy Pervis or the well known Border man Ray Walker.I took some excellent Borders into my friends in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. I have a good friend in Hungary, she's a lady, but has a really good Border. She digs often to the dog on Fox and the Pajama nosed fellows, it is legal there of course. I'm going this winter.

  6. Will the Fenns still be able to be used johnathon? I have had good success with Imbras, Fullers juby and the everitt Squirrel traps. I have a good friend who traps for a living who lives in Nebraska he uses all sorts of traps and catches many different varmints. He only trpped an American badger a short while ago. Do you keep any trapping books. By THE WAY i know t2 friends of yours. Les Gedge and Paul Duffy, 2 of the greats and so trustworthy.
  7. Neil, a bleeper couldn't be put on the dog because there had been alot of wire put around the pipes. I forgot to mention to the lads on here, but a so called area rep from the Fell and Moorland came out. He shouted at my brother and asked why a locator wasn't on the dog. My brother 20 years ago was at his fittest like many of us, he was and could have turned professional Boxer. My brother retorted 'do you want to be put in the hole with dog and fox.The man went deathly white and even I scared for the mans welfare. He thought he'd done so much just because he belonged to a club. However, I must

  10. Please excuse my punctuation, not so much grammer or spelling mistakes. I'm on some bad medication at the moment for panic attacks and sometimes im not at all coherent! However, I will try my best. I don't really want to talk about my dogs, sooner give other dogs credit, but alll the dogs I had I bred myself and they died on my Mothers yard. That is testimony to the dogs working ability. I had 2 really good terriers pass by last year and it broke me asunder. 'Still sorely missed, Tramp and a little rough- coated bitch called Thatch. So -called dog men who doesn't get a tear in their eyes are n
  11. Why all the arguments? Look how foxdroppper, Fatman and myself got off to a bad start! that's in the past and to be honest the person Iam i'd sooner help someone, but if offened that is something totally different. Of course there is some good guys on here who doesn't have to write afew short lines to prove their abilities. I know of course we won't always agree on certain aspects, but at least lets try and be friendly, lets help each other. I may get some flack for this statement but I don't think it is a good thing to keep having a poke at each other. I have a brother who had the world at hi
  12. I can remember Bert Gripton in his latter days of life, some little, scumbag of a monstrosity proceeded to go into his house while Bert was asleep, bed ridden downstairs and Bert was deaf by now. The scumbag took one of Berts terriers called Thimble and also the lowest of the low stole one of Berts fox masks off his wall. Bert was far too clever and soon had both fox max and terrier back. I know the shitbag, lives in Cornwal now. Set up a Mole catching business....'Don't worry the great Lord looks down on the guy! He will fail in his ventures........
