  1. Heard a few things lately about Goldens going nuts. What a load of shite.!!........... I dunno, I never met a bad tempered Labrador in all my life till I moved to the UK. I was absolutely stunned to meet not one or two, but many who are unpredictable and aggressive. Mind, they've all been big fat-ass pets who aren't properly trained but still it's unsettling. I literally cannot count the number of labs back home that I had the pleasure to know, all had sound gentle temperaments. Equally, I've met several here that have required my boot up their backside to prevent a full scale set-to.
  2. I dunno why but that made me laugh really hard
  3. And that, Wilf, is what sets you apart from so many men who thinking propping up the bar at the local is an expected way of life - like my ex husband, who chose his pints over his kids. Good for you
  4. What new camera have you got? I'm still dicking about with mine and I've had it ages - most of the time I bin all but a handful of what I've taken lol
  5. Check you out getting all un-fuzzy. Nice shots P
  6. Lovely UN-fuzzy pics sir! Nice to see what can be achieved when they're not ripping your arm out of the socket while you shoot
  7. Absolutly brilliant Cheers, D. Yep, what he said!
  8. Cool! I've never seen one here. Well jel!
  9. Oh and I took this one whilst a cow was stamping and charging at the fence, making that horrible noise and snorting - no less than 3 feet away. Hateful, hateful things are cows. I told it to f*ck off but it didn't seem to care
  10. aye thats pxsh, I would give up if I were you lol I tell you what I was so frustrated with what I got last night. I blame the coos! are you one of the witches from there abouts If you look closely you can just about make out the 1612 they've installed on the side of Pendle to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the witch trials I have a witch arial bobble doodad on my car, in honour of my fallen sisters
  11. Was thinking about this thread last night whilst the cows were charging at me from the other side of a fence. Moll, you can imagine my face I bet Kept wishing I had keepa with me so I could take pictures in peace
  12. So I went out last night with the intention of getting some sunset pics - never tried it before. Turns out I picked the wrong spot. The angle I wanted was wrong, and the cows charged the fence I was standing at which, as some of you know, proper puts me off my game! But anyways, Pendle at Sunset from Crown Point. The low mist was lovely but I didn't get it right. Won't stop me trying again but I reckon next time I'll go for a cow free area
  13. That seems to be springing to mind for me an awful lot lately yeah, me too. Always seems to be the answer for me If you say it out loud when needs be - it makes you feel better Since I started driving I've noticed the roads are full of them
  14. That seems to be springing to mind for me an awful lot lately
  15. I would if you put a bucket on your head though.. Yep, a big ol' RED feed bucket should do the trick, with a nice bright reflective stripe on it. I still laugh about that I live here because I love it. Maybe not the town I'm in so much, but the place in general, and the people. I'd go home but I could never ever live in a city again so might as well stay put. For now, anyway.
  16. I'd just do my best 'lamb' impersonation, you'd never get me
  17. Well no, obviously I'd get the syrup FIRST, then I'd run. I'm not daft!
  18. If my relatives were over I'd be the one fleeing!
  19. No geese were harmed in the making of these photos. Taken on the wild plains of Rishton
