  1. What camera are you using? If you can, use your aperture setting high around at least 14 or more, up your iso a bit, and try to focus 1/3 down the frame of what you're shooting. I'd have aimed the focal point right on the crest of the hump of the rock. Mind you, I'm no landscape photog Those are nice moody shots. I like the second one
  2. Anubis used to run a countryside/general photography forum but I just tried the link for the first time in a while and it's gone
  3. Thank you kindly sir Totally fine with the thread going off topic - it's all good
  4. Couldn't help myself sorry Need some kind of entertainment on a Saturday night!
  5. Whoop whoop! im allergic to horses my eyes go all bulgy and my face swells up, so no horsey pictures from me ... but what's the allergic reaction symptoms then? sorry
  6. Oh right well I was way off base then It's a nicely framed shot all the same
  7. just spotted it after you pointed it out. .how do you do that I use Lightroom for editing, you can do it that way. Don't think my camera does it for me as far as I know lol
  8. Haha Paulus ... lovin' the new watermark! lol
  9. I like the second one. Looks familiar to me, where did you take it?
  10. Gosh Skycat, that's a lovely compliment thank you very much I'm not a technically strong photographer but capturing the feeling of a moment or subject is more important for me. I've only just started taking a course to learn the basic technical side of things.
  11. You'd think so Spade but in fact they made great buddies. My mate has two of them, and the Dobe, all on a display team. Probably the best behaved social dogs I've met for a long long time. The terrier had a blast with them! The Dobe rats as well, and they rubbed along quite well poking about for critters, despite looking like they were going to kill each other lol
  12. Thanks loads ... the top shots are of an 8 year old Welsh D, only recently gelded but such a lovely, sweet creature. I fell deeply in love that day I can assure you. And he belongs to a close friend of mine so I've been assigned the task of being his personal paparazzi as he goes on and starts showing in hand. Same goes for the little foal too. Happy days for me!

  14. Paulus the bottom two on your second post are belters Not so fuzzy either
  15. Found in a rubbish bin?! That's terrible But lucky for you I guess Mine was only about 4 weeks old, no teeth and a scab on his messily-docked tail. Sometimes the best dogs come from the totally unknown. Mine lets my daughter dress him up, "guards" the house , blows through cover bushing for bunnies, and sleeps in my bed Can't imagine life without him - the only thing I like better than my terrier is my kids
  16. That's my Big Fat Gypsy Terrier Kriti lol No idea what he is, got him at Appleby Fair last year. Hard as nails, soft as butter, recalls to a whistle EVERY time. Best friggin' dog ever.
  17. I've been playing with the gigi's again - one of my most favourite things to do The results ... This is a six day old foal And this is the terrorist sparring with a doberman Messing with an Alsation No terriers were eaten in the making of these photos Thanks for looking
  18. I've got some in the garden too Might try to snap a few of them over the weekend.
  19. That's a brilliant shot! It's no easy task to get a sharp image like that when they're running right at you. Well done
  20. Hi. So you think your ex took you to court just to look good. What planet are you on? Then he messed up after a few months and you decided that he can't see them anymore! It sounds like you are the bitter and hateful one. Every man deserves to see his children unless there is sexual abuse or violence to the children involved. When you say "my fabulous kid's" you seem to forget that they are actually your kid's. When you chose to make them it was between both of you. It sounds like you are just another mum using your children to get back at your ex. Shame on you. Kyle You don't know the in
  21. Good result, happy for you My ex 'fought' me in court to see the kids (in reality he was just trying to get at me and make himself look good). I tucked away my own feelings and tried to be amicable and accommodating to his schedule for their sake. Within a few months he'd breeched his own order by not contacting them or seeing them and claiming it was because he didn't have any money A year since he's seen them - because I won't let him now, they deserve better than that - and he still takes every chance to make my life a misery and hurl abuse at me. He's a bitter, hateful, drunken b@sta
  22. Nice pecker Undi! ... sorry I couldn't resist ... lol
