Cheers Mo I did dread it; only passed at the end of July and I still get in the car and think ... am I really doing this? The kids are cute - in small doses!

Some nice ones there - I like the dragon fly and the foreground flowers with the cottage way in the distance

Thank you Penny Passing is well hard work now, most people my age who've done it said they answered a few questions and passed and it was easy. I did the written test in June, then I knuckled down and did two 1.5 hour lessons a week ... you have to know all sorts of obscure road rules, and do an independent drive for a section of the testing - which means they tell you what road signs to follow and you've to find your own way. Which is all well and good but difficult when you're a bag of nerves! When the guy told me I passed and with only one minor, I cried I put off doing it for such a lon

Thank you for asking, by the way I'm well rusty with the ol' camera but I've got the bug again Having a car makes a difference - I've lived here for 8 years and only now am I really getting a chance to see the place properly!

Thank you Rio

Thanks Well chuffed I was - only got one minor!

When I tell them we're off out with the dogs they all moan - then we get there and they run wild, messing with the dogs and generally annoying each other, and I say 'right, home time' and they moan that they don't want to go home! These were my favourite non-scenic shots Walking kids and dogs often leaves me with a high clothing bill and an awful lot of washing!

Gorgeous!

... passed my test (first time ) and got a car. As such I've been bombing around all over the show and I haven't been on here much lately. But, following an enquiry, I thought I'd post and catch up with you lot This is one of the new places I've found for a stroll with my brood. And Kittlerox ... this is about as much hill as I can handle Setting off Straight up! And up some more ... All the huffing and puffing (on my part that is ) is worth it when you finally hit the level Even the big bitch needed a breather But not so much

I might try that book - it's got good reviews.

All very well securing your house, but how would you survive long term? Food, water etc: we'd be like the prey we hunted, constantly alert and looking for danger everywhere we went: I don't think that most modern civilised societies would stand the strain of living like that. People aren't used to being as wary as a fox wherever they go. The 'living' population would be down to about 1% in very little time at all, and I think that any group that did survive would have to remain fairly small or its needs would overwhelm the numbers of people very quickly. I love post-apocalyptic fiction:

I like the cinematic feel of it - and as Skycat said, makes you wonder how you'd get along in a post apocalyptic world. More than once during the tenser moments of the show I've just thought 'fuk it, I'd shoot myself and be done with it all' Proper looking forward to Autumn and series 3. Also the new series of Sons of Anarchy which is possibly the BEST series I've ever seen on tv

Seen that episode Gem .... brace thyself!
-
After I'd watched the first episode, went outside for a smoke ... some drunk bloke lurched around the corner, all stiff legged and off balance .... I nearly screamed
-
Proper good show! Love it Just started watching Falling Skies ... and I've got it playing on the pc so I can listen but I can't bear to actually watch it 'cause it scares the crap out of me

I'd rather set my hair on fire than read that trash! Those books have apparently outsold Harry Potter Goes to show how many bored women there are out there I guess

I have a slightly different - but equally appropriate - version: 50 Shades of Burnley : The new best seller. "Even though he only had one tattoo I yearned for him to fill those lonely hours between Jeremy Kyle and Loose Women". "As he approached with those pasty white arms hanging out of his Gola vest, his smile told me it was benefit day and I knew my velour tracksuit would be hanging off the lamp shade tonight.""As I stood in line at the Job Centre thinking of reasons I couldn't work, a sweet smell drifted past my pig like nostrils. It was a mixture of weed, B.O and Lynx Africa.

Awesome pics Moll .... Lovely to see mini RobertoM with Terra, proper cute the pair of them! And Stella .... that dog makes me weak in the knees Sam is too scary for me tho -
Very true. I smoked it for years and years (and years ). Not so much now obviously, having kids etc. But what's floating around now isn't what it used to be. Give me some good old fashioned brown Jamaican weed any day over the trippy sh!t on the streets now. I know a lad with cannabis induced psychosis - it's a horrible thing to see. A once lovely happy chappy who struggled just to leave his house, convinced everyone was trying to kill him. He's really struggled, he is on the upswing now but he's looking down the barrel of a good few years before he's right again. I don't think weed
