  1. If you resort to setting your hair on fire would you please take some pictures......as it would be very funny!! When i was a teenager i was a little sod, i once set fire to a girls hair on the school bus and also saw my late nanna set fire to her hair when she bent into the oven, both times i hurt my sides laughing that much!! Compo, one of my friends did that - accidentally set her hair on fire. And 20 years later it still cracks me up
  2. AAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR At least you've got a little "pal" to play with now pmsl Yer, my little pal sure helps to take my mind off the sprogs! You might want to go fix those smoke detectors by the way - if the place goes up in flames my hair will deffo end up on fire
  3. Well I never got into the hunting thing till I moved to England .... Anyway jr those dogs are gorgeous. I do love the look of airedales.
  4. It was great when it was just my son .... add two more to the mix and it gets trying at times Still, they're only little once and I chose to stay home with them - and most of the time it's good. Some days, tho, I'd rather set my hair on fire than stop in with them all day
  5. Yes cougars .... but to just say lion, gave me a vision of a proper lion lying about on the plains of Saskatchewan .... and had me laughing
  6. Lovely to hear about you fellas enjoying your kids Not something we hear enough of if you ask me. Anyone want to switch places with me - 2 1/2 year old twins and a 4 year old. Doing it on my own 24/7 sometimes takes the fun out of it
  7. Having worked in a few vet's surgeries, I can say that seeing these things widely advertised gives me the shivers. As SC said, inexperienced users can do A LOT of harm with these. If you get one, be sure you know what you're doing first. Or the vet bill you were trying to avoid will be a lot worse than it might have been if you'd have gone to the vet in the first place.
  8. I used to put my first lurcher in the nappy bag on the back of the pram - before he'd had his jabs - so he could get out and about with all of us. As soon as they've had their jabs, nice gentle walks, lots of sniffing, meeting nice dogs and people, exposure to traffic and other noises ..... very important to building a steady character. If you're turning the pup out to play and run with your own dogs on the paddock, then the walking bit is more for socialisation and experience than exercise. My pup is 5 1/2 months old now, very very steady on lead and easy to handle. She doesn't spook or

  20. Well, let's see ......... People who feel the need to point out that I've got my hands full when I'm walking three kids and two dogs .... as if I need them to tell me that, and I hear it every single day. People who leave dog crap on pavements and in public parks. Flytippers and litter bugs. People who go through a door ahead of you and don't hold it open as they go, even though they KNOW you're behind them. My arsehole exhusband for doing his level best to make my life a living hell: the miserable, lemon-sucking c**t. Customer services at Vigrin Media. Tv License
