  1. You know, the first time in two years I'm actually going out tonight ..... looks like I'm going to miss the fun!
  2. See, this is why the forum has a general section, so folks can have a blather about nothing at all! Whatever made you think of this tho?? Toilet roll in my house is up on a shelf only reachable by adults 'cause the kids would end up decorating with it.
  3. Fab pics as ever Bill Couple more for the screensaver! The kids love your stuff
  4. Your looking in the wrong places.......lol Clearly you know something I don't know. Feel free to share
  5. Very nice looking animal! I've seen him advertised in the CMW as a worker I think?

  9. Why on earth would you want to visit this place?? But yes, Santa's is alright
  10. Oh dear, do you live here too? That explains everything.
  11. I've met some really top people in this town, but in general the place is a tip Rubbish all over the place, dog sh!t on the pavements, alchies and smack heads roaming around. My neighbourhood is decent, but it's like being on a island surrounded by a sea of scrubbers.
  12. Yep, Baz is still in the dog game far as I know. Mostly bull x's I think.
  13. This made me chuckle. An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale hit Burnley in the early hours of Wednesday. Victims were seen wandering around aimlessly, muttering "Fooockinell". The tremor decimated the area causing approximately £30 worth of damage. Several priceless collections of mementos from Majorca and the Costa del Sol were damaged beyond repair. Three areas of historic burnt out cars were disturbed. Many locals were woken well before their giros arrived. Rock FM 97.4 reported that hundreds of residents were confused and bewildered and were still trying to come to term
  14. Spot on Skycat Mine has been with me six months now, and it's taken that amount of time for her to figure out that life can be fun, interesting etc. She's only just started jumping little things, and will do about 2 feet. Give her time mate. Don't rush her, she's got a lot to take in.
  15. Good grief!!! That's shocking.
  16. Bumpity bump folks .... I found the above very interesting reading. Surely more of you have great stories to share.
  17. I don't drive, so I have to do it on foot - it's good for me as well as the dogs! I try to keep the pace steady and fast when we're on the roads. Mine don't work atm so I do everything I can to keep them fit. Lots of fields and woods near me too so they're running, jumping etc just about every day. If I tried to ride a bike with my dogs beside me I'd be dead before I hit the top of the road: I'm rubbish on a bike I also think that getting them onto the roads is good for them mentally. Getting the used to loud traffic, ambulances etc. helps to keep them steady I think.
  18. Well said SW And Scally, I happen to think you're lovely!! Even though we met while we were brushing our teeth
  19. Mine are in too. I seem to recall reading somewhere that a woman's house was broken into last year, and they took her whippet, who was a 6 or 7 year old non worker, and spayed. Left her other dogs behind. If someone tried to take my dogs from me I'd go ballistic
  20. Excellent Bill! You need to go to Canada and take some pictures of the loons
