    Gosh, thanks ever so much for the visual :sick: If someone is happy to be fat, that's their call. What really pisses me of is fat dogs There's a lady lives near me who's little terrier was so fat she had a shelf of wobbly fat for a backside. I asked how old she was, lady goes 'she's getting on now, about 11 years old' I said well you won't get much more milage out of her before she explodes ffs, put her on a diet. Needless to say the dog has since died. And, like Speedlamper, I'd be dead if looks could kill

    :sick: My two year old daughter is sitting on my knee, she saw that and said "Eeewwww mummy, poo!" It's probably just a tear as the others have said. Bright red blood usually indicates lower intestinal trouble or a small tear. So long as it doesn't increase or carry on for days it should be ok. As long as the pup is ok other wise, eating and drinking normally etc. .... the sherriff's badge?? pmsl!

    I'd take them for a walk together, see how they get on. This will also give you an opportunity to see how he responds to basic learning - bring some treats, see if he's interested in food rewards etc. If the missus feels confident about house training, that shouldn't be a problem. Ask the rescue if he's crate trained: if so, that would make your life a lot easier. It might also be worth having him neutered if you're ok with that. Good luck, let us know how it goes.

    Whatever works for you mate, but I think wag is probably one of the worst dry foods on the market. I fed it to one of my dogs ages ago - he produced so much wind from it I considered putting a windmill in my garden Coat went dry, and his crap was enormous and rank. Bones are what gives a dog strong teeth. Cereal based food sticks in between their teeth and contributes to rot. Pup is doing VERY well. I let her eat as much as she wants; some days it's more than others. She's been out mooching with me this morning, spent loads of energy so when she's rested for a couple of hours I'll

    I've got one, keen as anything - but virturally untrainable on the retrieve. If she catches it, she eats it. And that goes for neighbour's cats (and mine if I'm not looking, the ). Brill pet tho. If you want to course her you should really seek out a trainer.
