  1. Got mine yesterday, cheers mate! Love it, but I've had to hide it from the kids - the light is far too novel for them to leave the damn thing alone
  2. Yep LL, we have some good walks together. The girls are only 2 1/2 and they'll walk a good few miles so long as I make it interesting, and bring some treats for rest stops along the way - I don't have a car so they've got to walk, simple as. Yesterday we inspected some empty warrens, listened to a woodpecker, kicked over some mole hills, rolled in the grass and ate chocolate in the woods. Needless to say, they were all asleep by 7.30 last night
  3. Bet she keeps you in line mate! I agree Chris, the kids and dogs are great to be with - most of the time! Re water fights; I bought us all little water pistols last summer and we staged a kind of OK Corral shoot out with them. I ended up laying in the grass being dead for ages till they all finished "killing" each other. I think my neighbours reckon I ought to be medicated. I've got the mudiest kids in town, always trailing around with the dogs and kids all covered in muck Beats sittin' infront of the tv all day tho.
  4. All nice family pics .... I don't have many that include me, I'm the one who takes them with my shitey camera But here's a couple of my beloved sprogs & dogs. All I have is my kids and dogs, must have a million pictures of them. Not many of me tho. 6Pack took a photo of me not long ago, and has apparently been sharing with people - she'll pay for that But since it's out there floating around, I might as well just let everyone see it. I was goofing round with the kids and she caught me out.
  5. Thats a lovely picture Isn't it? Love the big grin on the wee lad's face.
  6. .... it's all a bit of an anticlimax really .....
  7. Hey Jen, I lost a dog the same way once, I know exactly what it feels like Sadly, many of us know how it feels. This lad carried my dog with me, to the place I buried him. So when I heard the news I went straight round to his. And then stood there feeling awkward and sad. What can you say to someone when you really have been there? It's a shite way to feel.
  8. .... wait now, I need to grab a beer and go out for a fag, don't start without me lads
  9. Fabulous!!! I love Moll's pictures - those are really superb
  10. I almost never go out at night, don't like to leave the sprogs with just anyone so I'm happy to stop in. Sometimes it gets boring, especially on a weekend. But then, I just come on here, settle down, and watch the show
  11. I'd knock and old lady down for an opportunity like that!
  12. Personally I think it's about time we saw some pictures of the blokes on here!
  13. Wow. That's such great news! b*****d wants to be drawn and quartered A relative of mine was abducted when she was about 11. They found her body stuffed in a fridge, in a flat over looking the park she was taken from. They've never caught the c*nt. She wasn't the first one, no doubt she wasn't the last either
  14. Cheers LC - I checked your thread earlier as I was hoping there was one left. I don't think he'd suit a bull x, another of the same type would be ideal for him. Having the dog kept him off the street corners on many many nights. I do hope he gets another. Keeping dogs is as heart breaking as it is heart racing.
  15. Young lad lives up the top of my road, had a very nice young lurcher - been watching the dog grow up and come on over the past year and a half or so. I asked him if I could have his dog, every time I saw him, since the first time I laid eyes on it. It kinda became a private joke between us. Gorgeous blue pup, was turning out to be a good hare dog. The dog was hit by some speeding twat last night, while trying to run across a country road to the lad who was stood on the other side. Poor bugger was dead instantly. The lad is crushed, and frankly I'm crushed for him. He's a good kid, and when
  16. As I often say to my kids - look with your eyes, not with your hands Lookin' is harmless.
  17. I wouldn't really be bothered by that sort of situation. I'd just tell the bloke to smarten up, and carry on with the friendship. Unless I fancied the bloke, of course
  18. Erm, not to be all girly and stuff but how do you know if they're feral? My cat comes in once or twice a day, has a quick nibble and a kip, then disappears again. He never keeps a collar on so I've stopped trying to get him to wear one. I know cats aren't for everyone and to each his own, I'm not denying anyone their right to dislike moggies. But if someone shot my cat I'd be really fookin mad - and that wouldn't be a good thing for the shooter. What if you shot some poor old woman's pet, or a little kids' cherished friend? I can't think that someone would feel good about explaining to a f
  19. I only know a couple of women who hunt. One of them was point blank rude to me about wanting to learn more about it all, and basically told me to piss off. But most folks who get to know me know that I'm genuinely interested - and more than capable. Now it's just getting the chance to get out there with someone who'll show me how it's done; I have a lot to learn but I've never failed at anything I put my mind to. When someone tells me I can't do something, I try 10 times harder. And damas, I don't know what kinda women you meet but I don't do the BBD. I go by character. If you lack that th
