  1. Imagine a four set of knives forks and spoons to this quality?? What would you give for such perfection.? I had the experience of diving on an E'boat which was a war tomb for 14 sailors. All their cutlery, plates and dishes were intact. It was a sight to behold. Jok.
  2. Gralloch knife I reckon. Looking good. Jok.
  3. Nice one son. Getting up to my standards of excellence I see. Lol. Jok.
  4. Good morning my friend. Yes we are all good. No dramas. Haven't seen you on here for a while.  I still have a look and drop the odd comment. Just sent a box up to Remfrewshire. Happy days. Not been to Scotland since the funeral. Not much point really. Looking forward to a pint on Saturday. Jok.

  5. I spotted Bosun's bindweed which I also have plenty of. What concerns me more is the dreaded Mares Tail. Not knowing what I'd taken over, I rotovated the entire plot, which as you know just spreads the damned stuff. Now I googled the problem and there is a guy who advocates the use of WD40 which I tried. It certainly makes the heads go brown within a week but what is the long term solution. Anyone got proper advice on eradicating this horrible weed? Incidentally my potatoes really didn't survive that early frost. I'm like most I guess, leave them in, get new top growth and hope for the best b
  6. As you can see DC Flacko got the book. Thank you for looking anyway. Jok.
  7. Good kick up the arose with full intent should sort it. Jok.
  8. On the subject of wood, what about Bog Oak? 3000 yrs old and available. What a lovely piece that is and a credit to your lad. Just as aside, have finished a double bow back which is on its way to Renrewshire.. Hope the guy, Lee, likes it. Stay safe. Jok.
  9. Not one to put the boot in but I can't remember the last time I had a bird go broody. That is in the last 10/15 years. To be fair, I collect 2 times a day religiously which I imagine helps. I do remember when I was breeding pheasant that I'd let the birds rest on eggs for a while and then introduce the pheasant eggs. Could that possibly answer the question? Jok.
  10. Hi guys. Well, some years ago I was selling loads of these boxes. I've gone through the workshop and have one more for sale. This occurred bu virtue of another member who asked if I had a double bowback, which, fortunately I had. I doubt I'll be making any more but who knows.

  14. England back home to Scotland doesn't seem to have many border problems ffs. The Carter Bar is still open as far as I'm aware. Jok.
  15. How do Guss from over there. Have a natter with Sir Blessed on this forum (pm) who might help. When you contact him send my regards please as he's not been about for a while. Jok.
  16. Men's Deputy. Sorry for knicking your thread pal. Just found it right amusing. Jok.
  17. This makes me howl. Honestly. We were out ferreting by the side of the A38 near Abbotts Bromley and lost a ferret. Try as we might for ages could not get a signal. Much later I decided to expand the search and low and behold, there was the little begger about 2 and and half foot under the Tarmac, but about 6 ft from the kerb. We decided in the end, being a Sunday morning, to get him out. So we did. Fck knows what the local council thought about it all but good result none the less. Didn't hit any pipes either. Jok.
  18. Know what. It's lovely to know that people are co-existing in a way that, to be honest, was inconceivable. Who would have thought that our younger generation would take any interest in the outdoor life? I know that this forum link is restricted to it's members who have the knowledge, and age, to do what we do. What a wonderful platform for our future generation to learn a bit about what goes on in life. How to introduce new members is clearly a problem. I, have an 11 year old grand daughter who absolutely loves the outdoors and indeed, today, came down for the first time, to visit , what in e
