Eh up vFR. How are you pal. Sold my Blackbird. Anyhow, had a word with my mate who set up some boarding kennels and he says it was a 150mm x 100 mesh.all the concrete was laid over hardcore with this sized mesh and the concrete to 100mm whackered and polished. Jok.

Totally agree with all the above. The biggest problems I’ve had are boundaries and drainage. All I’m saying is that someone is quite likely to mean and to be ready for it. I had a great neighbour until I didn’t have a great neighbour. He wondered why I was wandering round his property with a rifle looking for the fox that killed 38 chickens. Only saying like. Jok.

Which leads me to the next possible hiccup. Do you, because you are laying foundations, need to have a word with the authorities. Your neighbours might also have a little word. Oh alright I’m a killjoy but things can bite you on the arse. Jok.

At the very best you are dillusioned. That building ain’t going on your back garden unless you’ve bought a few yards of your neighbours ground ffs. Now seriously. When I moved to present location I applied for what is now our double garage. On the councillors advice I set all foundations etc to, in the future, allow me to change to habitable accomodation. Now this is in place and as I am getting older the decision was clearly a wise one. Point I’m making is, sort the ground work out properly and the future will take care of itself. I know it boils down to affordability but go for the best pal

Blimey. I think we are all at it. I’m in tomorrow for a bit of a hip thing, following my right knee and progressing slowly round every blessed joint. Not to mention loss of most of the feeling in my right index finger,(carpal tunnel syndrome) Ibelieve. I must have been a right bad bar steward in my day ffs. Anyway, the lovely one says she’ll look after me for the remaining so all good. It’s good to hear a few of my keyboard mates and hope you stay well. Noticed Ianb on this evening. Also good. Jok.

Hi guys. I’ve been down the workshop these last few days and found some incomplete ferret boxes best of which is a poachers, 2 ferret carrier. They are very lightweight yet strong enough to sit on. When I was making these full time they were £35 which included door to door via Hermes. Pics can be uploaded from this site. Interested.? Jok.

Not wishing to nick Spsurfer’s thread and keeping in topic, I watched a programme on which a geezer made a Bowie knife. With the hand bellows, hammers and anvil with all the heat and the hardening was a very interesting thing to see. Can’t deny I didn’t realise there was so much to a blade and that before the shoulder and handle. Very good. Jok.

Strange. I have only recently managed to get back on the forum. Don’t know why and actually not that bothered. However, I agree with one or two comments. Where are the boys, who over my time on here, dissapeared to ? The most important thing for me was, and is, watching for the well known members who had a good thing to say about their individual likes. I know some of the current members by dealing with them in the past. Terry d, Flacko, Sir Blessed, he’ll the list could go on and on and get boring. But, as the intro asked, where are they all.? Jok.
