  1. Thought you might bite on the .224 Devon.???
  2. Eh up Devon and Lara and, and and, we meet the same subject again. Well, get yourself a tub of diesel and a brush. Go round your perimeter and I think the problem will be gone. The little shits can't or won't go over it. Now then. The pigeons. They are a problem. Airgun. Cats. Not allowed to say much on here. Neighbours dogs running amok. Kick there arses. The guy next door wondering if you have a beer to spare. Yep. Bacon Sannies on a Sunday morning before going to the pub.OK? All in all the allotment works like a dream. Keep on top of the weeds and a lot of the slug/snail problem goes away.
  3. .223/.224 and .308. Got them and you can do owt.
  4. Same thought. However when you think, everyone gets old. I wonder if this was infancy NHS.
  5. Scotts view. One of the most stunning views ever. River Tweed, Melrose in the middl e and the Eildon hills as a backdrop. Rumour has it about King Arthur there but they say that about th3 Bass Rock as well. I have the same view painted by a well known local artist, in watercolour which everyone admires. You can almost see the house I was born in. What a place.
  6. No reply there then ?
  7. Well guys. Another finished and available. PM me.
  8. Does it sound like all the gear and no idea??? Lol.
  9. I imagine that having a chat with your neighbour would resolve the problem. There must be common ground for conversation.. Unless of course you have issues.
  10. Gruffalo. What I did was use the soldering iron to mark the leather. Just laid the nib flat for a second and repeated round the sheath. Gives it a nice finish. Like yours. I think my leather was a bit thicker so presented it's own problems. Love the work.
  11. Good evening gentlemen on the warmest day of the year. Just got back home after spending a few hours on the allotment. To be honest I'm aching like hell because I did the last of the rotovating and it was hard going. Not the ground, just the fricking machine. It wants to keep going down. Anyway, finished and then put down a row of Savoy and a row of drumhead. Because I ridged the spuds when setting I missed the frost and 4 rows are showing. How come, when you have a huge garden, you run out of space?? Totally mad. My greenhouse is rammed with all the plants for late May/June and I could do wit
  12. Ah. Ok. He lives other side so no help there. Jok.
  13. You have it son. Smash the mother with the roti after , hopefully, getting the roots out. Good amount of muck and you are away. I'll post some nice pics of mine when things start moving. Good luck with slugs and snails. You neighbour needs a talking to.lol.
  14. Hello chicken man. Jok.
  15. Blinking Eck kid, that looks like tough ground for growing. I would smash that with a roti if I were you. Good luck.
  16. How about working for me? Joking apart, with that talent he's going to the moon. Still looking at that knife. How do you bring that rust/corrosion to the fore? Just amazing. I don't know how he's going to make a living off them but if I can help I will.
  17. Thank you. I look forward to it too. How's the carpenter search going? Might be able to help.
  18. you are not wrong. Just got me smiling about comments on my homemade trap. Can't help but be amused. Thought you would have said a little. No malice intended.
  19. No comment from Walshie yet though or indeed many other gurus on the trapping of Reynard.
  20. I look at this knife every day since the post. It is brilliant. The concept is brilliant. The finish is brilliant and the backdrop for the pics is brilliant. I am going to try to make something that gets the same feelings. You must be proud pal. Jok.
  21. Novice. They all had a bit of a laugh at my naivety but I [BANNED TEXT]'t about making a trap which is on this forum. To me it was a good idea. To others it was maybe a mistake in as much as it is too small. However, that scummy little red git isn't exactly a big animal so I put my faith in the trap. The brother in law caught the thing so I'm looking forward to posting some pics of it DEAD. Still smiling. Jok.
  22. Fck me Walshie. I' m seriously hoping to give you all a picture shortly. The swine has had 14 birds, left 6 and a head, to whit I've baited the trolley trap aforementioned. I know you mocked me about the size but to be honest, if the fckd does go in to fetch the remaining bait bird, I have him. If not, back to the drawing board.
  23. John Russell. Whereabouts are you pal. Only reason I'm asking is my brother coming down for a birthday bash at the weekend.
  24. Flacko. Got one ready for youAlso done another double with a slightly different front to prevent same thing?? If you were coming anywhere near I'll do a swop or mod no problem.jok.
  25. Fck me Flacko. You could be picking me up.lol.
