    Totally agree. When you are hitting nests in December then you know there's going to be a lot extra. Trouble is, have you noticed the increasing number of buzzards? At the end of the day I bet it balances out.

    Know what pal. It ain't an easy ride. You need to work at it, gain trust and remain trustworthy. One silly mistake and all is not forgiven. What you are asking for is the Holy Grail and the people you are asking have paid the price to get their permissions. Imagine letting someone loose who lets the side down and then permission lost. Can't happen. Get out there and find your own shooting. My humble opinion of course.

    I've been asked for variations of the triple bow back box and to be honest, any changes required can be done. If anyone wants a slightly different design then just ask. Might take a while to get made because am now in the middle of the marquee season but I'll do my best. Jok.

    Going back to Lara. The diesel swipe defo works. They cannot cross. Just as an aside, going back to something in the old brain box, Jeyes Fluid. Might be worth a go. Then the submerged pots of beer with about 2 inches above the surface?? Latest problem I have is ants in my peas. Shits really had a go so new rows and loads of powder. Trouble being the powder gets wet and not so good. Next problem is the cabbage white which is now everywhere. Keep all the brassicas covered.     I' d gladly buy you the above. Thing is, to catch one of them the proper way would, you must be honest, fantastic. I don't care what people think and perceive as right or wrong, a trout or grayling coming to a dry is somewhat exhilarating. My mentor, Jimmy Clinkscale, (RIP) thought me the gift of patience and only casting to the feeding fish. We can all troll a worm or maggot, get a bite and have a good fish in the net. CAN IT COMPARE ? Only. My thoughts.

    Fella next to me trains his courgettes on a frame much like a runner bean set up. He seems to do ok. Never Fcking weeds though the prick. Drinks a lot of my beer as well. Double prick. Love him to bits. Good looking company he keeps. Triple prick.

    Well to be fair I am gobsmacked. This is the most sought after location for trout in the British Isles. Free. Unthinkable. Just for the hell of it I think I'll take a couple of the lads down for a mooch. Thanks pal. Never to old to learn eh?
