Well son. I think I'm reasonably safe to say that you and yours have the support of all the guys here on THLF. Ther's not a lot of point in saying horrible things only that if there is Justice then Justice will be done. This person will have a nightmare future no matter what. Griff . Think about some of the blades they produced and kept sharp, cutting folks in half with one strike. ( did I really watch that). Mate this water stone is GOOD. Not soft at all. As above, I have all the self made boxed oil stones, the 3 in one and loads more besides. All my gralloching gear I do with a diamond stone. Nice edge on most blades but as you know we all have our favourites and stick to them. My advice to this fella would be to take his knife to the local butcher who will grind and hone it for him then all he has to do is keep an edge on it. Just my opinion. Jok.

I have to agree there Walshie but beggars be as beggars must. Still an achievement. Just a twat when you go each day and every so often the thing is sprung with no result. Hey ho we keep trying. I've one of these Chinese water stones which are outstanding. They're double sided is rough on one side smooth on the other. Very expensive but good bit of kit. Jok.
