  1. Right fellas. I found out today that there is a tunnel available for dismantle and collection in Leicestershire. I believe it is about 6m X 5m. Obviously the poly will be wrecked but good opportunity for someone. Money is not required but a donation to our local Air Ambulance is essential. If ther's any interest , I'll go and measure up and re post. Jok,
  2. Nice little spaniel showing a lot of interest. Nice 2nd day. Think tomorrow is it. Jok.
  3. Yep. It was coolish this morning. Had enough layers on though so was ok. We ended up with 3 and lost 4 so all in all not too bad. That's about it though. One more trip out. Jok.
  4. Same as. 2 yrs old Jill. Had a good morning out with her today but to be honest I'm past my best physically so I reckon it's all going to go. She held her own in a biggish bury, 15 holes. They bolted like lightning. Trouble was she wouldn't give up and we ended up waiting over an hour to get her out. Quality none the less. 1 more day out and that is defo it. Anyway, I'm in Ashby de la Zouch so if you are interested let me know. Jok.

    Wales X England

If ever a game was robbed.. Lucky fckrs. Doubt we'll see another as tough as that one. Jok.
  6. What is you're definition of a good stick Adam. ? Jok.
  7. My kitchen smells lovely. As does the half time score. Think I'm going to have a tipple. Good luck Welsh Dai. Jok.
  8. Just finished the beggars. Going intO kitchen now tO make some chicken liver pate. I know the England game is on at yon o'clock but don't want to watch another massacre. LOL? Ireland certainly have their tails up. Jok.
  9. I'm stood here doing them and can't feel my fingers and toes. To top that it's snowing. Jok.
  10. Forest of Dean redneck. Who the hell would want to ligitimise chinkies? Jok.
  11. You are all, as always correct, but I was expecting a slightly different response. (Dry humour accepted). Walshie. They are anything but chewy. Absolutely brilliant to eat. Just too much too soon. Jok.
  12. My lifeline, having dropped off, at irregular hours, game of all variety, has left me in a right dilemma. ? 14 cockerell. Oh dear what do I do.? They come about 6 kgs dressed. Freezers are already full from a successful game season . Suggestions please. Jok.
  13. What is a D1 Doggy locator? Jok.
  14. Well well. Nice one pal. Good intro and nicely described. Glad your ferret went for you and a couple is always better than a blank. Those big wide open earths are generally Brock so in my opinion you did right. Here's to the next one.Jok.
  15. Tell you what lads. Have a look at Zeus Polecat's underground adventures with the ferret. He's in the Scottish Borders (my homeland) working some fairly easy hedgerows but with not that many rabbits to go at. It's hard to believe the audacity of the rabbit with a ferret up it's ass. Highly recommended. Jok.
  16. I reckon I could get results with that rig. Nice. Out again today? Jok.
  17. Ah. I understand now. Just done exactly the same with left and right roe antlers. I wasn't entirely sure how the colouring would work. What I'm going to do is a mock with antler 1 and then hopefully present the proper article with antler 2. Jok.
  18. You,ve just answered, without knowing it, a question I was preparing to ask. Thank you. Also, what pre-empted you to randomly get out a pair of Sika antlers after 10 years. Must surely be a reason?? Jok.
  19. If it's as big a rat as the South Wales one drinking diesel HaHa you've big problems pal. Jok.
  20. Northernlite. And you you believed him you thing you. Lol. Fck sake how many lambs you see in Scotland with yellow fat. Get real. Jok.
  21. My thoughts are that if you have identified the roost wood properly then without doubt they will be coming in. Decoys therefore, in my opinion, are worthless. I've tried the lofting poles, trying to turn the birds into the wind, climbed trees to set birds etc, etc. No what? Didn't make a hoot of difference. Far better to get to the 'warm' side of the roost and wait. Jok.
  22. I posted this topic exactly only last season. The opinion was that some rabbits chew and eat a lot more bark than others particularly ash, willow and hawthorn. Hence yellow/orange fat. Looks great and the rabbit eats just the same. Jok.
  23. Best get up to mine immediately and I'll lend you a MK 1 with collar. Them MK 3 's are a bunch of shit. Failing that join your bootlaces together and do it old style. Lol. Jok.
  24. Well guys this is good. Only saw it in the Sporting Gun and thought I'd give it a go. To be honest it's as easy as doreme. I'd just done a batch of pheasant sausages and had about a pound left over. Boiled half a dozen of the best and added an egg to the mix. Took a handful to make a nest and in with the boiled egg (which I only boiled for 2 mins). Rolled it round in my palms ,I reckon about 1/2", and then rolled in toasted bread crumbs. As I was putting the faggots in anyway, in [BANNED TEXT]'t the Scotch eggs. Then the game was up !! Good or not. Whilst eating my dinner, the sausages, I had
