Again you duck and dive to avoid the issue. Gnasher has already pointed out that it is possible to move someone with minimal harm. Pub doormen do it all the time. And the protesters chose to be there. If they are so delicate they shouldn't put themselves in harm's way. Nobody is disputing the right to protest within reason. That does not include stopping emergency vehicles which is the point that you keep ducking. Some of these people have been put before courts, ordered to refrain and are still doing it. At what point does society say: Enough? Or at what point do we accept that anybody

We all have character flaws. One of yours is off the scale hypocricy. Not just me has mentioned it lately either.

He'd already covered the "what if" when he said that he would never tackle any pensioners demonstrating - period. That covers any eventuality. He has a lof of grand principles that he could never keep when push came to shove.

That's the beauty of using plastic mesh. You can cut it with scissors. Lead can be bought on rolls in different widths and that can be cut using scissors. I can knock up a dozen in an hour and they are perfectly useable if not fashionable. They all end up stuck under a rock in the river eventually so no point spending a fortune on feeders.

A guy on the barbel forum found some netting used to protect young trees that was ideal to make feeders. Another option to consider.

You waffle, duck and dive all you want. But the upshot of this is that you have said that you would not manhandle an elderly protester - period. No exceptions. So by that you want us to believe that you would stand by and let your loved ones suffer for your principles. Absolute bollox! If they were BLM protesters you would drive over them twice no matter how old they were.
-
So you'd let your wife or kids die rather than remove a protester from the road. I think that is clear enough. That llet's us know what a principled prick you are.
-
Its a better look than making sweeping statements then refusing to answer how you would react if it impacted directly on you.

My BIL has just been on the phone. He has around 200 Putanges left then can't get any more. If anyone wants some PM me your email and I'll send it onto him.

Keep on ducking questions like you do and you might make a Labour Party MP. Or you could form your own special Socialist Party that stands up for all poor people unless they's black!
-
But this situation did happen . Someone was denied access to hospital by these buffoons. You say the elderly protesters should not be manhandled undrer any circumstances. So, we must assume that you would stand around helpless to get your wife or kids to hospital rather than do what I and virtually every other person would do and drag them out of the way.
-
Are you going to keep ducking the issues or might we actually get an answer?

The French will block roads at the drop of a hat when protesting about anything. But they won't stop ambulances, fire engines and school buses getting through.

Dab some tea tree oil on the affected area using your toothbrush. Pain will be gone in minutes.

Of course he's tight. Look at his location. He'll take a pint of maggots and half a stone of breadcrumb groundbait.

So, we don't manhandle pensioners - period? What if they were coon BLM pensioners preventing an ambulance reaching your house?
-
I saw a paramedic trying unsuccessfully to get them to allow him to pass through to attend an emergency. Did you see anyone dragging a pensioner into the road? Because if you didn't it might be that the old fool put himself in harm's way.

50 metrs of line coming off the bottom. Overloading will cause the line to bed in and not come off smoothly.

A while back I made some feeders out of plastic mesh sold for cooking. It is called BBQ Grill Grid and I got it from the poundshop. There is enough in one sheet to make 12 medium sized feeders. Weight is from some lead flasing used for roofing and the feeders are reinforced using a cable tie woven through the holes. A short loop of 60lb mono is looped through where the lead is folded over. For bigger feeders I used two cable ties, one each end. They were made to use in a snag pit expecting them to get trashed or lost, but they turned out to be more robust than I imagi

It seems that the Met' never shrugged off the Life on Mars culture. Cressida Dick should be sacked for the stupid comments about challenging officers. Couzins had a warrant card, uniform and inside knowldge. How the Hell could that poor girl have challenged that? All Dick's comments will do is get more people arrested for obstructing police or resisting arrest.

I hope the situation regards French Putanges is as you say. All the sites that used to advertise them are showing zero stocks and have been for some time. Whilst I agree that Flatpack traps aren't as good as their previous traps, the recently bought ones I have here to tune for a customer are much better than the Pest Stop ones I was offered last year. I do lose about a dozen traps a year to foxes and badgers and sometimes use cheap traps that people give me where trap sites are vulnerable to being dug up. But for day to day use I wouldn't change from Flatpack even though it grates on me that

I went out to get a new carburettor solenoid for my mower today. The concessionaires wanted the engine model, the serial number, my inside leg measurement and other important details none of which I had. Apparently the make and model of the mower isn't enough for the pretty young girl's computer to search on. So I went down to the place I get my mole traps from. They have a dark, Dickensian workshop staffed by old men in grubby overalls. I showed the faulty solenoid to one of the blokes, he had a cigarette behind one ear and a pen behind the other. The bloke muttered something, walked off to

No, the ones I had a look at were Pest Stop. Also Defenders are not up to much IMO. The worst was an unbranded trap sold by an Ipswich based ebay seller that could not be set. The things I look for are strength of the wires. If you can bend them by hand I'm not interested. The company that distributed French made Putanges has closed. I don't know where you could get them from now. The Lucifer brand that used to be good are Chinese crap now, as are most sold in France. I got a batch from a farm suppliers to try, but they didn't last two months. I mainly use stainless Putanges as they last
