Perch cleaned and scraped.....then slashed on the flanks and buttered...and grilled....is in my view far tastier than trout when i was a nipper and got a decent pike...it was cleaned and filleted and soaked in vinegar and salt and water overnight prior to cooking...(used to get rid of that muddy taste)

  13. love mushrooms in spag sauce.............dont like my sauce sloppy...i mix up the spag or that flat stuff with the sticky thick meat sauce and serve with home made parsley and garlic/butter oven done bread... celery and carrot in the mix as well

Cheap roasto...with or witout gravy..... gravy made with Bisto old skool...mix liquid from meat....add a spoonful redcurrant jelly.. water add to meat juices in pan..with crushed half an oinion bring to the boil ..add more if needed cooking water.... if im having gravy with pheasant or partridge i usually add a large tot of sherry chicken thighs off the "eat now or die shelf" ...
